Exact fit for my 2016 Forester drivers window. First time attempting this. Went smoothly, didn't drop any f bombs ha. Thankful to Amazon for beating projected delivery date and allowing me to install on a day off! Now if Amazon stock would go up would be ecstatic!!

Driver's window stopped working on my 2014 Forester, and after trying the switch, realized the regulator was shot. A pretty easy job to replace with this unit, but like others have said, only 4 of the 5 screws lineup. I think I can hear a slight clang inside the door as a result of the missing screw, but for the price I'm just happy to have a working window again.

Replaced the power window motor on my 2014 Subaru Forester with this part. Did seek out a YouTube video for complete instructions. The part works great.

Bought this to fix my son's 2016 front passenger door window, which was stuck in the up position. If you watch some Youtube videos, it is not a difficult install. Works perfectly, and job was done in close to an hour. Only complaint, only 4 of the 5 mounting holes lined up (The fifth was close, just not quite there). However, I feel that this will not cause a problem. Compared to local stores that wanted $216 to $289 for this part, this was an excellent deal, and in our son,s budget as well! Hoping it lasts as long as the original!

I'm not sure how long it will last but if you're trying to fix a "someone else's problem" window motor, this will do fine. While I was able to bolt it into position on the door, a few of the holes did not line up which was solved with a dremel. Window go up, window go down.

The unit fit as it should and operates as the OEM. Installation easy after removal of defective one. Installed yesterday and will monitor its’ operability.

I bought this not knowing for sure that the regulator was bad. Window quite working in the closed position. So I took a chance and bought this replacement unit. A little difficult getting the door panel off, thank God for YouTube videos. Once I got the panel and switch control panel off, I connected the new motor to test to make sure that was the problem. It was. Fairly easy to install the new assembly. Works great. Quality seems to be good.
