Old shaft was worn and had a sticking spot while steering. This replacement worked for about a week and then the problem returned. I replaced again with a better known brand and only paid about $20 more.

I had a heck of a time getting the stock shaft off. It was rusted and seized so what a relief this thing went right in. BE WARNED the lower shaft may also need to be replaced as this upper one is a smidgen to big to slip into the lower shaft. But no more knocking and rocking in my steering wheel

Replaced the upper shaft on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe Z71! The “loose” feeling you felt when driving at slow speeds where you think the wheels are about to fall off, is finally GONE! Nice solid feel, like new all over again!

Junk. Has play in the shaft which allows it to clunk / pop when coming to a stop or accelerating. Spend the extra money and get a Dorman.

Let’s face it. The original part was seized on. It took a lot of choice words to get it off. The new part is so much better of a design. Smooth operation and works great. Completely cured the front end knock in the truck. Buy it!

Great product so far for the price you will be surprised at how well it feels while driving. Even if it last only a year it was less than $40.00 I will have gotten my money out of it.I had a loose upper intermediate steering shaft that was in bad condition, I mean everywhere that thing was. I bought this because it was way more affordable than the brand names. When I received product I was surprised to see that the quality was not much different than the OEM part that was on it. It was a beautiful fit, installment was super easy had it apart and together in 45 minutes. Tried to cut corners and not remove the gas pedal absolutely not going to happen save yourself the time and go ahead remove the 2 bolts and set the bolts and the pedal to the side.
