Love this fabric! I live in the mountains and needed a base layer for snowboarding and it’s wonderful!

I really like this top. It's lightweight but super warm. It is very well made and fits true to size. I wore it by itself with no undershirt and it was honestly kept me super warm, almost too warm. I live in MN where warm clothing is a MUST during the winter and this is perfect. I didn't need to wear a jacket or coat with this. It's very well insulated. I would recommend this to others. For sizing reference, I'm 5'6", 170lbs, 34H bust, 29" waist, and a large fits me nicely. Fitted but not tight.

I absolutely love this top. It's ideal in the cold months, either to wear outdoors or just to lounge in inside. The inside has an interesting fleece texture that's so soft and comfortable and feels like it's snuggling you. It's very warm and the long sleeves cover your palms and have holes for your thumbs. I ordered my regular size and it's very form fitting but has a decent amount of stretch - if I had been able to try it on, I probably would have gone up a size. Since it's the base layer though, it works how it is and I still love to wear it. It's very stylish and attractive. I definitely recommend.

I received a similar, but not the same shirt. Everything looks the same but it is missing the front pockets. This wasn't a deal breaker for me but I would have liked to have the pockets especially when I'm out hiking and don't want to carry a pack. The fabric is soft and has a fleece like texture on the inside making it feel extremely soft and warm.I normally wear a size 10-12 and ordered the size Large. This turned out to be a good idea since it was fitted perfectly around my bust (40") and had a relaxed tapered fit around the waist. This gave it a flattering tapered look to it without being skin tight so it doesn't accentuate my mommy tummy and actually down plates it quite a bit. The only part that seems like it is a weird fit is the arms. The sleeves are SUPER long extending 1" past the tip of my fingers. When I pull up the sleeves they tend to bunch up a quite a bit.Overall I do like the top and will wear it as it is still quite flattering. I wish it did come with the pockets though.Review For:Arctix Women's Dynamic 1/4-Zip Base Layer Top

The Arctix Women's Dynamic 1/4-Zip Base Layer is a warm shirt. I’m actually wearing it as I write this review. I usually wear layers inside the house in the winter, this shirt has replaced a hoodie. I like that it’s keeping me warm with less bulk than a sweatshirt. However, the shirt I received looks different than the shirt pictured. As of February 2022, the shirt pictured shows a kangaroo pocket. The shirt I received does not have a kangaroo pocket. The shirt I received is a plain 1/4 zip.The sleeves have thumbholes, always a favorite feature of mine. But the thumbhole on my right sleeve is half the size it should be. I can’t fit my thumb through it! Half of the thumbhole is still sewn together. The shirt washes and dries without fuss. I’ve washed it a few times and haven’t had any color fading or pilling. The waffle weave fleecy interior is soft against the skin. It is a hair magnet, every time I wear it, the shirt seems to pick up every single loose hair.

I like the fit and material of the Arctix Women's Dynamic 1/4 Zip Base Layer Top. It looks small but it fits as expected. It is made of thin material but is warmer than it looks. I used it throughout the day and it offered wind resistance and was relatively warm. It works well with other heat tech gear. I used it around NYC in the 40s -50s and it worked well.

When I hear "base layer," I think of a skier wearing something thin but warm against the skin before layering with heavier-weight layers over it. Because I intended to wear this as a top layer over my tennis shirts, I sized up, thinking that I'd need a looser fit. I probably didn't have to do that because this top is more like a secondary layer than a primary one. While I wouldn't call it heavy, it is thick, with a waffle fleece on the inside that adds warmth. It's comfortable, loose, warm, and long. I can easily play tennis while wearing it, with no restrictions on my movement, even when I serve.Because the sleeves are on the long side as is the torso, taller women should fit well in this. I love the quarter-zip opening because I can vent a little before I decide to take it off. In the winter, indoor court temperatures can dip into the upper 40s or low 50s, and this works well to keep me warm over a tee while I exercise. Of course, if I were wearing this without exercising, it wouldn't be warm enough in those temperatures. It's more like a 60s top.The steel color looks more than an off-black than a gray. Everything about this top seems like quality. I only wish it came in different colors.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

This fits perfectly, I did size up a bit (I’m between a medium and large and got the large) and it’s stretchy enough for easy on easy off, is really warm, about mid-weight and works as a base layer but I used it over a tee when I needed a bit of extra warmth and didn’t want bulk. About the only issue is that it didn’t get that cold this year so I didn’t get a lot of wear out of it. Looks sharp and definitely keeps me warm.
