This was created for the older model. I bought it for my new Slim Vita. First off, it does't fit the new one. The holes for the thumbsticks and buttons are created for the older model. The back plate also doesn't work. I had to cut it down to fit on the screen. The big problem is that it comes with a solution to make your fingers wet and the shield wet. It makes it harder to put on the screen. When I put it on, there were a ton of air bubbles. The manufacturer also tells you to wait 12-24 hours before using it. I wish I could get my money back, cause this isn't cheap.

Pros: It's tough, and it covers pretty much the entire Vita.Cons:- Doesn't match perfectly all around, therefore its noticeable, and it makes your shiny new vita a bit less attractive, until.....-... IT STARTS TURNING YELLOW (i have a white vita).- Some edges peel up if you handle you play a bit aggressively (like a fast-paced fighting game)- Pain in the @ss to get it on, vita needs to be turned off for 24 hours.Verdict: Get a much cheaper sony screen protector, installs dry, no bubbles, in under a minute, play right away.

First off, WOW! I usually protect my devices with Ghost Armor that I have applied at the shack in my local mall. I took my PS Vita there this weekend ready to get the usual treatment, and I was given a bad experience that made me lose confidence and look for a new solution. The kid working there wasn't even sure which kit went to my device?? Anyway, I came home and started doing some research. After stumbling on to some youtube videos I decided to give ArmorSuit a shot. It came in extremely fast and the kit was really easy to understand. I got the spray solution, skin, cloth, and hard applicator. I went to ArmorSuit's youtube channel, watched one video and then tackled the task of applying to my Vita. I've read some of the other reviews, and I noticed some people complaining about how difficult it was, how it stretched or left a bad finish. Let my say that this is the first wet skin I've ever applied, and it went on first shot, no bubbles, no stretching, and the finish looks perfect. I know the instructions say to leave it for 12 to 24 hours to let the small bubbles or streaks fade away, but as of right now the device looks perfect. Now I just need to fight my gaming addiction and let it dry properly to avoid moving the skin any. I'm hooked at this, it was less expensive than Ghost Armor, I was able to apply myself, and in my opinion looks better. I will surely be buying one of these for my next smartphone!

Think this cover is really solid but had to stretch it out a bit to get their fit just right which resulted in a bubble type effect thought it would got away but a couple months and hasn't flattened out

Not that it matters to me, as long as the product is good. Which it is, but like it was mentioned before. ArmorSuit protects the body quite well and is very durable when it comes to scratches or a little bit of mishandling, I don't agree with the screen cover though as it tends to kind of makes the screen a bit more difficult to see. It's bearable, but you'd probably want a regular screen protector for that part instead. I ended up cutting out the screen size of the armorsuit to place a screen protector there instead. Works quite well actually. I'd give this a 4 and a half stars, but seeing as how I can only do 4 i'll stick with that. For applying it itself.. just remember, you are applying many pieces on the entire device itself. It takes a little bit of patience, frankly for me. I get bored and apply a few pieces every day until I finish it up. (I have no patience) For everything else it does what it's suppose to do and it surprises me how durable it is sometimes and if you don't want your vita to end up with a bunch of scratches down the road. I'd recommend you getting this, seeing the history of my PSP(s) and PSP(Go).. yeah..Also the bubbles and scratches fade away in time, no matter how badly it looks when you apply it. It kind of evens out and fades as the time goes by, pretty convenient actually. The only issue you got to really worry about is dust and particles when you are applying it the first time. But other than that, I had no issues doing it and it looks practically built into the Vita at this point. I'd give you a video but if you want to see more pictures on how the final finishing touches are, i'd recommend looking up Skinomi or ArmorSuit products on other devices. It literally looks like the system itself and you would hardly notice it there unless you inspect it up close.
