TORQUE CONVERTER BOLT

OK, these don't fit a TH400 or TH350 by a MILE! The bolt is twice as long as it should be, it's too large in diameter. Even if I drilled the converter out and cut the bolts down, there isn't near enough room to sneak a nut in there, NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!I've honestly never seen convertor bolts this long before. Oh, and they are a 12 point bolt, so good luck getting an open end wrench on one in a tight spot. I even checked ARP's website to make sure I ordered the same part number.Simply put, these are physically impossible to use on a TH350/TH400.

Got my bolts fast, I did have to drill out the flex plate just a tiny bit. I would rather have strong bolts that fit tight. The other brand bolts were to short and were lose in the holes. My project is a BBC with a Power glide and 4700 rpm stall. I needed what ARP has! Very happy!

Second set of these i have had the same issue with. Once tightened they were fine but soon as tried to loosen them they would not turn acting like they were cross threaded when in fact they were put together by hand before tightening . never had a issue with any other arp product but these .

I bought these for my 1969 Corvette 350/300HP. They did not fit into the converter I purchased from B&M. They were too big and it did not require the nuts.

ARP bolts are the best insurance you can buy on a car. These bolts were larger than my factory flywheel bolts (odd) so I had to take an angled die grinder and enlarge the flywheel bolt holes. Other than this, these bolts are great.
