14+ year old recipient is petite and of slight build. She is 58" tall, weighs 70 lbs., has a 22" waist, and is 32" from shoulder to knee. Photos show a green size 12 and a white size 14.She absolutely loves the color of the green dress and cannot wait for summer! She also loves the feel of the dress. It is soft and moves well. The inner liner is silky soft. The straps are adjustable - you tie them yourself. The only downside to having them tie is that they have come untied while wearing the dress! (Thankfully she had on a shrug.) I would recommend an undershirt in the summer, just incase.As a parent, I LOVE that the dress is fully lined, from the top of the bodice down to about an inch from the bottom edge. Most clothes are far too thin these days, but I don't have to be concerned about it being see through!Originally we got her a 12. It fit her torso but the length was too short for her liking. We bought a size 14, hoping it would be better. The 14 was a better length, but then looked baggy/awkward on her torso. Such is the life of a fit, tall, girl. (In the photos the green is the size 12 and the white is the size 14.)The only real criticism is that the wavy elements are not very securely attached. On the white dress one end was lifted off when we opened it. Not a big issue, I just sewed it back on. But it does make me wonder how long these elements will last. If I was manufacturing them I would have sewn them on to begin with.The measurements of the dresses as listed in the ad, I found to be spot on.After washing both dresses, their measurements are as follows...size 12 -- length 27" (down the middle),- the width at waist 14.5"size 14 -- length 31" (down the middle),- the width at waist 16.5"I feel the under $25 range is a fair value. Obviously I am willing to pay that much since I bought 2 more! (bigger and more colors).Just a silly note: According to the size chart and her stats she should wear an 8. Haha.

Dress is adorable and and size is accurate! The length is great and my 9 year old loved it! the quality of the dress is top notch! I cant wait for her to be able to wear it!

She loves it, shoulder ties are a a little difficult, but manageable. The fit & feel is perfect, very attractive dress!!! Works best with a little cardigan...
