Grandkids like to come over and paint. Having this large mat on the kids picnic table was the perfect fix for all those spills! They happen :) This makes cleaning up so easy! No mess on the table and a quick wash of the silicone mat and all is clean and ready for the next adventure! Decent price for keeping things clean!

I like to do PBNs and I got this art mat for my 3-year-old niece so she could paint alongside me. It's thinner and flimsier than I imagined it would be. It's effective, but I guess I thought it'd be a sturdier mat. Despite that, it came in handy as my niece isn't the neatest painter. Even though I cleaned it off, some of the paint marks remained. All in all, not the greatest, but it does its job.

I love how handy this mat is! It is not only is a paint palette but also acts as drop cloth. It cleans super easily. Wash in warm water or just let the paint dry and peel it right off.My only complaint is the paint sections are pretty shallow which limits the amount paint it holds. That requires you to have refill the sections often. Over all that is minor flaw and I am still very pleased with the use and function with this art mat!

I got this mat for my 5 yr old daughter to use for painting projects. I was having to use brown packing paper taped down to my table but wanted something waterproof. This mat is my perfect.It is very useful for painting. It has a very large surface to accommodate large pieces of paper or different objects the you are painting. There are paint reservoirs at the top of the mat where you can add in your paint instead of painting from tubes or some other container. The reservoirs are surrounded with a small divider so the paints stay away from each other. There are also two reservoirs for mixing your paint colors. At the top left of the mat is a reservoir with taller dividers which I used for water. It’s not very big but it worked for my daughter’s painting needs. The mat comes with 2 brushes. On the mat are places to either hold the brushes in place, and holes to stick the end of the brushes in to keep them out of the way if they are wet. I cleaned the mat using dish detergent and a dish scrubber. For the reservoirs that held paint, I found that an old toothbrush works to clean the corners. This was the only negative that I had about the mat; cleaning out the corners. But it also depends on what kind of paint you are using to determine how easy or difficult it is to clean. It rolls or folds up for storage and doesn’t take much space.I think any artist would be happy to use this mat. I would definitely recommend this product.

The mat itself is nice. The silicone is easy to clean and it makes paint mixing easier without the fuss of using a painters tray. Because it's silicone, the mat tends to stick to whatever surface you put it on and stay there, which also means it will trap and hold any pet hair or dirt that comes in contact with the mat while mixing. The brushes fell apart during the first use, the metal caps coming completely off the stick. I can probably crimp them back on and keep using them since the brush itself is adequate for what I needed.

I was surprised I liked this as much as I did! I got it to use when I had my got glue gun out. The glue gets all over everything else, but peels right off of the silicone . The size of this is awesome! I used a pen to show how big it is, so it literally is my entire workspace. I have been using the little compartments too, for stashing small things in when I am working on projects. Not sure what some to the little compartments are for, but I'll probably end up using them all! I doubt I will put paints in any of them, but who knows, I might give it a try and see if they peel out. (I use acrylics) I do like the brushes that came with it too. Not high end, but great for my purposes, and I go through a lot of brushes!Great mat, and it folds up easily for storage too, since it isn't too thick. I'm thinking of getting another one for when I bring my projects with me when I travel!
