Two clear plastic guards for a bench grinder. These slip over the metal rod and flip up and down for cleaning/clearance. If your guards are scratched up from grinding work replace them both with these slide on replacements. These are not a substitute for safety eye glasses though.

These are a nice size and should get the job done. Extra protection from small things flying toward you, especially the eyes, is a good thing.I’m deducting one star as these didn’t fit my Craftsman bench grinder. The holes were too small, basically an id of .238 when .250 is needed.I drilled them bigger so that they do, in fact, fit. But if you’ve never drilled plastic type items, the best way is use drill bits that are made for that task (specifically for plexiglass). If you don’t have such bits, then I caution you to use the smallest bit that remove any material, and then step up the next size until reaching the desired diameter, in this case .25 inches. And really important: go very slowly, with light pressure, and low rpms. If you heat up the part or go too fast, you will likely ruin it. The key takeaway is SLOW.Anyway, I am using them. They are much clearer and slightly larger than my old Craftsman shields..
