A little on the fragile side but it works. Would be nice if the wires were encased like a phone charging cable but it’s good regardless

Unit does not work. Male end will not lock in so constantly falls out. Purchased to use on a motorcycle d r to extend the card for easier removal. Would not stai in at all. Tried on another device same results. Great idea but needs a lot of improvements.

Worked like magic! Printed an adapter and clipped it into place.Relocated the SD Card slot to make my 3D printers more user friendly.

Using this in an Ender 3 3D-printer. Just got cable, plugged in, tried it out. Absolutely does not work. Card can be read, but at every attempt to print any file, the machine does it's initial 'nozzle-purge' prior to beginning the actual print... and the machine stops and reboots to the information screen. Try to print again, same result. Tried several other files (which had printed successfully previously) and none of those would print either. Pulled the cable out, put the MicroSD card back directly into the printer control card, and NOW it prints as it did before, no rebooting. Either this product is defective, or this specific cable is defective, OR this cable cannot be used in a 3D printing application (not with an Ender 3, anyway.)

Currently using this on my ender 3 3d printer, working perfectly as expected. Using this so I don’t wear down/out the printer side of the microsd card reader.

This works for my purposes but is by no means a great choice. When you plug it in the machine will recognize it just fine, but a slight tug will release the connection. Nowhere near as stable as the micro sd on its own. If your problem is reachability, then having the plug release whenever any level of pull is exerted means you’re going to have to reach and replug quite often… more often even than if you just used the micro sd alone.

I ordered this to extend the Micro SD slot on my Tronxy X5SA 3D printer.Where I have it stored, it is difficult to get to the Micro SD slot when I need to change out the card and I didn't want to have to deal with setting up Octoprint just for this one printer.This is the only Micro SD extender I found that is long enough to extend the port to the front of this printer.It works perfectly and I haven't had a single issue with reading the card.I highly recommend this for extending the Micro SD slot on larger printers.
