Steering Tie Rod End should be checked and replaced when you encounter the following problems:
Steering Wheel Vibrations
When the Steering Tie Rod End become excessively worn, it will make wheel shimmy, which may cause vibrations felt in the wheel.The intensity of the vibrations will increase as you step on the accelerator pedal to go faster.
Clunking Noises
If Steering Tie Rod End develop excessive play or looseness, this can cause them to knock during takeoff, or when the vehicle is traveling over rough terrain. The clunking sound will continuously get louder as the component wears or until it eventually breaks.
Steering Wandering
Excessively worn Steering Tie Rod End can cause the vehicle’s steering alignment to shift, which may cause the steering to pull to the left or right when traveling down the road.

I used this item to replace a bad tie rod end on my 2006 Pontiac G6. I had it installed by a mechanic and he said that the quality while not as good as OEM was on par with what you'd get at the local auto parts store. He said that installation went easy and there were no surprises.From my perspective, It has made a HUGE difference in how the car drives. The car was "walking" all over the road and there was a lot of play in the steering. This totally fixed all that.Even though only one was out the mechanic said I should replace these in pairs so I went ahead and let him do it. Just be aware you will have to have the car aligned after installing these parts. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone with a 2006 G6. I think you're getting about the same quality as the parts store for a lot less money.

Like my other two reviews I'm on Amazon Vine and looked at parts for my specific vehicle and this happened to be parts that popped up even though I didn't need them I got them anyways they feel and look like they're to be a great quality so if I do need to put them in I'm guarantee that they're going to work great
