I'm a mechanic that bought this tool because I have a lot of gasket scraping to do. This scraper does not scrape well at all. It is verry weak, i would not buy it again, wasted money. Blades are not strong either

A good addition to anyone’s tool box makes gasket removal on old hard gasket material a breeze

I bought a clone to this a Harbor Freight and it was a piece of crap since day one. I have had great luck with this gasket scraper. I’m a professional diesel engine mechanic.

Nice tool for small scraping jobs. We used to use one like this for scraping old gaskets off pump parts. BUT... I will tell for sure that a mechanic did NOT design the case or sharpen the bits. But this is the main reason I only gave it 4 stars, you would have to take the air adapter off to allow it to fit in case or modify the case...LOL

I ordered this machine from the US on Friday 1st July and it was delivered to here in "the sticks" of Normandy, France today (5th July) at 1100 . I have just connected it to my air supply and tested it out on the dreaded Artex. I prepared an area of Artex yesterday with Fluxaf Green (which is a paint-on gel for softening Artex) . The Astro scraper just buzzes it off - straight to the underlying plaster - no dust, no mess, just strips of dead Artex to sweep up. My local builder had suggested sanding off the Artex ! I am really impressed and also full marks to UPS for efficiency.
