Good for the price but it was stated to fit an Isuzu Pickup yet the end piece was too small. If your a master fabricator this is for you,, perhaps. I had to fabricate a custom end piece. 90 Isuzu Pickup.

Was difficult to figure out how long it was from the amazon advert- also there needs to be a pic of the crimp-on end piece and info that it is 1/8 inch square- supplied crimping tool was useless but cable worked as required.

I have a 1984 John Deere tractor whose tachometer cable broke and is no longer available. I found this speedometer cable kit and purchased in hopes I could replace the factory inner cable. It worked perfectly and my tachometer is now working! A great easy fix and you can not beat the price.

I well remember using this universal speedometer kit for automobiles and trucks and also for clogged drains using a drill and that was my reason for purchase, I needed to unclog my sunroof drains on an HHR and this did the trick without disassembling anything.In the past I have used speedometer cables on a cordless drill on kitchen, bathroom drains as well. I'm glad I had this on hand when an A/C condensate drain needed the algae removed from it too, located the clog, drilled a small hole upstream from it and inserted the cable, once again powered by a cordless drill and away the clog went within 2 minutes..I keep a spare hanging in my shop, they will rust after a while but wiping them dry and spraying with WD40 will extend their life into years, it works for me and FYI they are great for their intended purpose though many cars now use a speed sensor which is electronic, older vehicles still use them and even some exercise bikes from the older times as well.. [Cut to fit application by measuring original cable or case with needed amount protruding to assure the cut is not too short the first time]

I bought this to unclog the dirty EGR passage in my car. The cable is a very nice combination of being flexible with some rigidity at the same time. So it worked well. Kind of like a very gentle drain snake. I bet few people used it for this purpose.

I actually bought this for cleaning the exhaust back pressure sensor tube on my truck. I cut it to needed length and no fraying whatsoever. It did the job perfectly.

Cable was easy to change by pulling out from speedometer end. Simply cut to length and crimp new end on using supplied parts. By replacing just the drive cable and not the sheath, i was able to retain the factory sheath and dash grommet and to keep it original which was important on this 50+ year old "survivor" car.

Was buying on a gamble because the description somewhat lacked clarity.I used this to replace only the inner cable on a vintage motorcycle and it worked perfectly. You need to be precise in cutting the length of the cable or the housing wont slot into place but a hair on the long side still worked.Half the price of buying the regular cable with housing was my reason for purchase and i find it rare the housing needs replacing.Great product.

Product was good, but did not fit like it said. I put in my vehicle info and this popped up saying it was compatible. Now it says universal but it has a completely different attachment going into the transmission. The new one is way smaller then my stock one so the cable does not spin therefore it becomes useless. It also had no instructions for the crimp tool, that would be very helpful. Besides that the product itself was nice and sturdy if it would have had the same end and worked I would rate it 5 stars 5 times over but it didn't so that's where I'm at.
