As others said: the case is paper thin garbage. Mine came as shown in pictures. The damage to the case ment some of the tool came rusty from moisture. See rusted Chrome flakes that came of inside the hammer. But......The tool and components look well forged and and should do the job for years to come.But if you want pristine condition on arrival, a nice case, and everything to stay put in that case when u pick it up, this aint the one for you. Buy yourself a name brand.All said and done I still give this a 4 star review becuase a little surface rust wont stop it from doing its job and the price for the tool itself is a good value. I can oil the metal and reinforce the case later.

The one I received was definitely used, with someone's name on the case, but it was clean, and worked absolutely fine in removing an Aveo, 4 bolt hub. Maybe about 20 'smacks', and the hub came off, allowing me to proceed in a front hub bearing replacement (with other tools, obviously). The hub connection part needed some smacking with a heavy hammer to squeeze the bolt holes together a little to allow me to perfectly fit the hub bolts, but this was not an issue, and worked fine without any noticeable hub damage. Someone else's name written across the case was strange, and it was used, but that didn't take away from the fact that this worked perfectly, and is ready when I need to change the other front wheel bearing.

The slide hammer and hub attachment in this kit worked to pull the wheel hubs out of the front end of a 2017 Mazda 5. Took about 25 solid hits of the slide hammer, so about two minutes if your slow.

Used the slide hammer puller to remove 2 wheel hub bearings on my Toyota MR2. Worked really well. The case itself is not very good, nor does it hold the items in place. During unboxing it was already making a whole lot of noise due to all the tools floating around, but lets be honest, at this price point, we just want the tools to work and we are not buying it for the case. Does the job, works well.

I received this item in a big box with some other delivery. Everything inside was messed up. Hopefully i could figure out the way to organize it but the case have one of the two locking pins broken.I can still use it but now have to be careful of how i handle it.

Very beefy. It removed the front hub on my vehicle like it was no big deal. A few whacks and it's off. If you need a large, strong slide hammer, this is the one.
