I had originally bought a very popular coaxial cable. The Audioquest Cinammon crushed it. Super Clear, very easy to hear the difference. It took a few hours to open up,but when it did, W O W ! You get what you pay for, go for it if you Love your tunes. 1.5 meters worked for me.

I am using this cable to connect a Wiim Pro to a Burson Composer 3X dac. I researched cables both less and more expensive. I do believe there are cheaper options that work as well. I certainly don't feel "ripped off". I have other Audioquest cables and find them to be well constructed and durable. I am streaming Tidal and am very satisfied with the sound.

I bought this wire to replace the Monoprice 3 feet digital coaxial cable selling on Amazon today for $7.88. After 50 hours of break-in the sonic difference is slight to none. I fully accept that it could be my hearing, but I recommend that users try an inexpensive cable like the Monoprice and if you can get an expensive loaner from a brick-and-mortar seller (remember them?) try one out. I like the Audioquest Cinnamon and intend to stop upgrading this function here. On to some other imaginary improvement!

I have it connected from the digital (rca) output from my sony UBP-X800 blue ray player to my V-90 Musical Fidelity DAC (via digital rca). That way I can play my collection of CD's, SACD's, and DVD-Audio disc's without going thru the additional step of going thru my tv then thru a optical cable and into the dac. This cable does the trick! It's direct to the dad.Hope this helps.Best

AudioCables are a funny things. In general, I'd hypothesize that wider is better. But at some point in HiFi audio, you reach the point of diminishing marginal returns in the audio upgrade products. There is not much in the way of objective data to make a decision about ultra high end audio gear. It's not like you are comparing Hondas va bmws vs porche vs McLarens, where if you know your budget and what you want from a car, and whether you value reliability vs luxury vs acceleration vs handling most, it's pretty straightforward to decide which car is right for you. Sorry, but HiEnd audio is nothing like that. One guy I know has a $100k+ stereo system with speaker cables as thick as my wrist, and interconnects made of pixie dust or something like that and of course swears that he hears the difference between the pixie dust cables than those made of mere copper. His system certainly shakes his house to the rafters. But I leave the debate over the benefits of thousand dollar audio cables between the emperor of audio and his tailor. That gear at that price is out of my league and beyond reason. I just want to hear my music and enjoy the way it sounds. And yet...after 50 or so hours of break-in, I did feel that I heard a richer sound using the AudioQuest Cinamon Digital Coax Cable than using my Amazon Basics digital audio cable. Night and Day different? Certainly not, but perhaps a 10% improvement. Or maybe I've been inhaling too much pixie dust..I guess you just have to try these for yourself and consider them a science project. Maybe you can figure out whether you like them bettter than the radio shack/Amazon Basics digital Coax cable you had before within the return window closes. Or if you miss that window, sell them used on Amazon, eBay or Craigslist. But you will have to get your own - I'm keeping mine.4 stars because for me, 5 stars means near perfection, but for under a hundred, this is a pretty good bet that you will be glad you tried them. Thanks AudioQuest!
