Works as advertised. Super easy to install. Took no more than a couple minutes. Start the car and the default for the auto stop/start is off. But if I press the button its on. Dont have to remember to turn it off anymore.

Super easy to install, IF you go to youtube and look up how people do it. Most importantly, it works. This device allows you to default to Stop/Start off, and now it only turns on if YOU want it to. Control of the car you bought is once again yours. Also, I've had my car in for service a few times and no one has said anything about it/that I should remove it/that it affects warrantee/etc.

What a great addition, if you don't like the auto stop/start function of your vehicle! No more pushing the button as soon as you start. The special tools for removing the dash module are included but it's not clear exactly how to use them until you watch a YouTube video. The tools both need to be inserted with the "hook" towards the inside, and you need to carefully move them around until they latch into place correctly. It took just a few minutes to figure it out, but it worked perfectly and the install is a very simple plug-and-play. This is one of the best "convenience" upgrades you can do!

Install was exactly like in the photo and took 10 mins max. I had difficulty getting one of the two removal tools to engage but when I did the rest was easy. Try dragging the tool on the top or bottom of the inside of the slot if it won’t engage. Remove the tools before reinstalling. Everything worked as advertised, I will update this review if it stops working for some reason. Install was done on a 23 S5.

Works like it should on 2021 Audi SQ5. I hate the option and this pretty much fixed it. The auto/start/stop is off permanently until you turn it on yourself. 5 min install.

It's easy to install with the included tool. It took me 5 minutes to do it. It works great for me. This is 2024 A5 Sport back US version. So far, everything else works after I installed it, including the camera sensor that someone mentioned it here.

I have a 2024 Audi S5. I hate the auto start feature in all cars. This was a reasonably priced option so figured I would try it. It took a little fiddling to get the, supplied tools, to lock into place, but once they did it popped right out. Was easy to plug in and the extra wire and box fit easily into the dash. Started the car before refitting the switch block into the dash to make sure it was good. Worked flawlessly and am so happy I bought it.

19 Audi A5 works perfectly as described to reverse the factory auto stop/start. Makes it to where you get in and it is off but you can push it to turn it on if you’d like too. No more having to remember to turn it off every time you get in.Simple installation. There are YouTube videos to help if needed.

I installed this on a 2018 Audi Q5 Prestige. Works fine. It seemed kind of sketchy because there are no instructions. You only get a card with Chinese on it. Watch the video and you'll be good. The tool inserts have to be in with the hooks facing in. You will need both hooks as some other reviewers have noted since there are latches on both sides. To get the factory wiring harness off you may need a set of needle nose pliers to hold down the latch and a set of regular pliers to grip the wiring harness. I needed both as I didn't have enough dexterity to pull it out unaided. I didn't want to go tugging on the wires should one of them pop off, been there, done that before. It's a dead simple fix. The stop/start would be beneficial if you were stopped in traffic for like 5 minutes or more. In my location, I'm never stopped that long so the detriments outweigh the benefits. And you can always override the setting back to normal. This switch is inverting the default setting for the switch, which is what I wanted all along.
