It hangs over the edge of the hood slightly. You will also need an extra pair of hand because it is long and flimsy trying to get it into position. Do a couple of test runs prior to removing the sticky tape.

This is a great product, slight shipping delay but things happen. It fit perfectly on my 2017 Durango R/T and i love how it looks. Time will tell if it last pr how it rides but for now i love it! I would recommend this very quick andeasy install and pay attentionto the instructions this 3m tape is very strong so there are no second chances. Great product and great look on my car.

Looks great but what a huge mistake. I read all the instructions and made sure to take my time. It went on perfect and was really secure.Half of it came off about 2 weeks later on the highway. I called the manufacturer and they sent me a new one. I tried again and especially making sure to remove all wax as I did the first time. Cleaned wit alcohol pads and their special primer. About a month later, the same thing happened.Don’t buy this, you will be sorry. It looks cool but will not hold up. Poor design. I asked auto ventshade to send me their regular bolt on type instead and they said no. They will only keep sending me replacements. So it’s a waste of money and time for me. Plus it pulled up the clear coat of my paint on the very front of the hood. Now what??
