Shipping was fast , but.... The box was destroyed up on arrival , dig marks on bug shield , not happy with it , can't return it as we are going on the road today for a trip. Went ahead and installed it , fit was perfect.

Wanted a clear shield to paint match, but unavailable. So purchased smoke color then sprayed its inside with black. Looks great, totally black gloss with depth. Compliments white hood.No issue with attachment hardware. Install too just a few minutes.One of my more satisfying purchases in a while.

I had one of these that stuck to the front with double sided tape. I did not like it because while it protected the very front water would get behind it and blow up on the windshield when what had pooled in the hood indent hit it. This one I have not had this problem. This stands off the hood and came with some pads to prevent it from rubbing on the hood. This was exactly what I was looking for.I removed 1 star from the install area because you have to pull back existing molding to press in screw anchors. Even when used these were fairly loose and before screwing them in fully they were popping out. It was difficult to hold them in and start threading screws before they fell out. Once fully threaded they hold fine. I would purchase again simply to protect the front of the hood from getting rock dings. As for the bug part I cannot really say how effective it is just yet because its too cold for bugs.

Fits as I expected it to, on my 17 F250. I've never had an issue with any AVS products. Looks good too. Should definately protect that broad leading edge of the new hood design from stone & debri damage. Installation is easy & straight forward. Takes about 20 minutes, with taking your time. As advertised, there is no drilling required. Shipping was faster than Amazon said it would be as well. Always nice to find purchases on your doorstep before they were expected.
