I'm not sure what a five star cable would be, but these cables offer solid build quality and are an excellent value. In fact, I bought this a second time after seeing the quality!

I recently picked up the AxcessAbles XLR Male to 1/4” TRS Speaker Cables to use with my MPC Live 2 and audio interface, and they’ve been fantastic. The sound quality is excellent, delivering clear and balanced audio with no noticeable interference or loss of signal. The cable quality is top-notch, with sturdy construction that feels durable and reliable. Ease of use is straightforward, and the 6ft length is perfect for connecting various pieces of equipment without being too short or overly long. For the price, this 6-pack offers great value for money, providing multiple cables at a competitive rate. The build quality is solid, and the color coding makes it easy to organize and identify different connections. Overall, these cables are a practical and effective choice for any audio setup.

I'm satisfied with these 1/4" TRS to XLR male cables. They are long enough for my needs and the cables are very flexible. They also did a good job soldering the connectors on the cables, which I have pictured. I, personally, wouldn't heat shrink all over the 1/4" connector. I use metal connectors that are similar to these, but they have a plastic insulator that slips over the part where the wires solder to. I'm guessing they didn't have that, so they just heat shrinked over the whole thing to prevent it from shorting to the case. Both work, but the way that these have been made simply means that desoldering will be harder.I don't understand heat shrinking just over connection point on the ground pin on the XLR connector. The ground wire is much more likely to short to the other pins rather than the ground pin itself that doesn't move. The way I solder XLR connectors is to not heat shrink over any pins and I just put heat shrink over the ground wire itself. Some people put heat shrink over every connection point on any connector, so no way is really better than another. I'm positive these will never break from the wires shorting to each other. The labeling of these cables as snake cables is a little off. A snake cable is where you have multiple two wire with a ground cables in one larger insulation. Well, that's at least how I understand it. I guess you could tape these all together and use them as a snake cable. Either way, the color coding can definitely help you know which devices are connected to each other.I recommend these cables. The sound will be just as good as any other cable and they come in at a competitive price. The only thing is that it doesn't make sense to get 6 foot when the 6 to 15 or 25 foot price difference is so small.

The sound quality of the cables is good and they connected well. The only note is that the connectors are a bit cheap and unscrew unintentionally. They work well for installs, but I would not recommend them for use if the cables are being unplugged and moved often.

I bought this 1/4" to XLR audio snake to have as part of my kit in the event that I ever needed it. And, as it so happened, I ended up needing it! Each connection worked great, as expected, and the length was just what I needed for a short patch from the wireless mics to the console. Overall, good value for the price and recommended.
