Worked perfectly with a 128GB SSD. I used it with a very old PCI SATA controller, so compatiblity is not an issue.Note: make sure to take the stickers off the standoffs before trying to screw the drive down, or you'll get nowhere. Heh.
Not sure of the fit!!!

Wanted to adapt a m.2 2280 to sata to fit into a hp 2340p. It is 1cm wider so it does not fit. Wish it would have been as wide as sata connector.

Worked well as a compact solution to stuff an SSD into an old Dell Optiplex SFF that was never meant to have one, about the same footprint as dismantling a 2.5" SSD but without voiding any warranties.

Arrived damaged out of the package, not sure if or how long it will work as the pins may not make complete contact on the smaller side of the msata slot. The price was ok tho

I needed an adapter for mSATA to use with a USB-A male to SATA adapter cord to format and clone an mSATA SSD for a Dell laptop. It seems like mSATA format was a quick blip in the drive world between SSDs and m.2 drives, like compact fluorescent lamps were between incandescent and LED lamps. You don't run across them often but when you do, you need this piece of gear to adapt. Probably will never need it again but if the ugly mSATA rears its ugly head, I'm ready.
