Bought as a gift for my husband. He had a similar product made of fabric that got very misshapen and was looking for something more stable. Until then his ties were all over! I gifted him this organizer for his birthday and he loves it! The outside is made of wood, which makes it sturdy and it is line with velvet which lends an upscale look. We chose not to hang it, rather to use as a drawer organizer instead. Overall we love the compartment size and organization!10/10 recommend.

This wooden box is VERY well made and has individual compartments to store "things". I use it to store and display my suspenders. It does that purpose well. For larger suspenders with big clips it does not. Those suspenders may be placed on top. I mounted my container on the wall using the predrilled holes and an additional screw through the back of the unit to hold it tightly to the wall. I would recommend this display case rather than the wire hangers for your suspenders as it will allow you to show your suspenders without stretching them.

I bought 6 of these and put them up on the wall behind my closet door to hold ties and belts. All my ties fit fine in the space allotted regardless of width. The fronts of the boards are not as smooth as I would like, and I was afraid that they would pick my ties, but nothing bad has happened after two weeks of usage. As to belts, it was not designed to hold them, and it barely does. Most of my belts protrude out the front, and a couple of very stiff belts won't roll up small enough to fit in at all. However, most belts do fit in, and it keeps them visible and out of the way. If you start at the bottom and work your way up, use a level, and use EZ sheetrock screws with black screw heads, installation is fast and easy. I got all 6 up with no gaps and dead level the whole way in less time that it took to decide how many to order. I've been thinking about this project for two years and wish I had not waited as long to get it done. I would recommend.

I love having my ties organized and finding just what I’m looking for in an instant. The only complaint is that extra-wide ties fit very snuggly. I guess like the Billy Joel song says, “Can’t you tell your tie’s too wide?” Time to modernize some. 😂

My ties in this look just like the picture. I used to hang them on a rack, but since I wear them less I didn't put the rack back up when we redid our closet. I wish the slots were a tad wider, as each tie doesn't quite lie flat, but maybe yours are narrower. They fit, anyway, and it looks nice.

This box helped me optimize storage, keep my ties wrinkle-free, and it looks nicer than having them hanging. With that said, I'm not interested in displaying my ties out in the middle of the room.The width on my ties is pretty middle of the road. Pay attention to the dimensions listed, traditional ties (3.5"+) are going to get squished a bit.For me, the solution was to mount this box on the left wall of my closet, as close to the front as possible. Thus, I can't speak to the ease or sturdiness of the included mounting solution. In my case, 75% of the box is resting on the leftmost couple inches of closet shelving. The remaining section that is suspended was secured with one or two 3M Command picture-hanging strips, which is overkill but it hasn't budged.
