I took my baby to an outdoor Christmas market and in the snow with this suit and he was perfectly happy and even slept in it for a bit while out. I don’t know if this is waterproof, but he crawled around in the snow and I felt no moisture coming through.

I ordered the 12-28 months blue version for a 6 month old daughter of a friend…who will be 9 months old by winter (speaking of the baby of course)…and who is certain to grow (again…the baby…but with dubitable hopes for the mom).- A little large for the baby currently, as expected since I ordered it with her growth by winter in mind. So size-wise it varies by the baby, and this will be good for her by winter.- I like the dark blue color over the others, aesthetically, and because blue is less likely to show wear/dirt/stains. (not that you can’t/shouldn’t wash it…and I expect that the fill/batting will dry quickly if it does get wet from rain, snow, spills, etc. )- The fill is adequate and consistent…it will certainly keep a baby warm during normal trips from house to car to house….and also in a stroller for a walk around the block/park on an average Midwest winter day (20 Deg. F).- The outside is polyester, but the interior/lining is plush.- The zippers zip easily…and zip “top to bottom”…which makes it easy to “lay her in” and “zip her up”.- This coat/suit comes with two booties and two mittens. Again exterior polyester lining, but the interior lining of the booties/mitten are also polyester.- I like the little pom-pom on the top. It’s unnecessary…but it’s cute and I like it.
