Got this for my fourth baby. Really liked the none touch ink pad. The product gives you a few sheets of paper for the print in case the first one isn't good.

This set includes everything you need to make a special keepsake print to cherish for a lifetime. I used this set for my child's first birthday, and his hands and feet barely fit. He's the size of a 6 month old though so I think it probably wouldn't fit your average 1 year old. The ink also runs out quickly so you really have to hope you get it right the first go around to have dark, beautiful prints (luckily I did). Overall though, the price is extremely competitive for the quality of the frame and mat.

I actually purchased this for my dogs. I am putting their photo in the middle and then their paw prints on each side. The frame itself is nice and a good size. The stamp pads for the prints is easy to use and clean. For dogs, it is important to make sure you really trim the hair between their toe pads as that will make the print blurry (which I found out the hard way at first). A cute gift idea for kids, babies or someone with pets!

We just got a new baby niece so we got this for her parents.This comes with everything you need except the your baby’s picture.The pad was perfect size to get her foot and her hand.Tip, take your time and don’t rush it. Make sure baby’s foot and hand make good contact on ink pad, and have someone help you keep the baby’s hand open when trying to stamp it on the paper. Baby will have the tendency to make a fist. But if you are patient, and have help, you should be able to get a beautiful hand/foot print.Ink washes pretty easy with soap and water.Really fun family activity with a newborn

We bought this to capture the pawprint of our pups - a task that proved harder than expected. The instruction sheet gives very basic info on how to accomplish the ink print but, unfortunately, they're not detailed enough to give you the best opportunity to properly use the ink pad. We tried with our first dog and pressed way too hard (thinking it was similar to the pressure used when using a standard inkpad). This removed almost all of the ink from the device which made future imprints much less even & much lighter. It took us 3-4 attempts to really figure out how to do it properly. By that time, we were out of paper and the ink pad was basically all used up. Also, one of our pups still somehow ended up with an inky paw - not sure how it happened. The other one remained clean. We ended up ordering a replacement ink pad & papers since we now know how to do it.The frame is actually quite nice and will make a really nice display once the prints are properly pressed. So, if you've done this process before, this is probably a good product. Its one of the nicer display options I've seen for the paw print/footprint designs. But if this is your first time trying, I highly suggest reading up more about & maybe watching some instructional videos to ensure you have enough ink & paper to do it correctly. If the instructions had been more detailed - or if there was an extra ink pad - this would have been a 4 or 5 stars for sure.PROS --- Frame is quite nice - both in design and in quality- Comes with 4 papers, so you have some 'mistake' turns- Frame can be hung or displayed on table/shelf with back support- Good product for the priceCONS --- Instructions are not detailed enough for a single ink pad. Need better instructions and/or multiple ink padsOverall, I really do like the frame and wish that the instructions had been more detailed (or an extra ink pad included). I look forward to getting the pawprints done with a different ink pad and getting to use this frame.
