This monitor is working out. It’s day one but I’m impressed for the price.I like it because:-more secure from hacking-video and audio good enough-gives me peace of mind to leave the baby resting and I can still keep an eye out-both camera and display have their own chargers so it’s not like wasting batteries or sharing one charger-the video is black and white in the dark and color w natural lightingPossible Cons:-as with most microphones there is feedback if you put the two parts too close so be mindful of that if the baby is sleeping when you test it

You can’t beat the price of this monitor for the picture quality and performance! It battery life is super long and it doesn’t require the internet so it makes its super easy to use and set up! It’s worth every penny!

I bought this after buying a different monitor that used wifi. After replacing my modem & router that baby monitor wouldn't work and was considerably more expensive. Bought this one because I pretty much used my budget, and it is perfect. I love that it isn't an app, doesn't buffer, just a quality product for a great price. I'm over the moon with this monitor. It also came with a screw and mounts easily. Literally just drill a screw in the wall and there's a slot for it to mount! It took 5 seconds and looks great.

The only reasonably-priced standalone USB monitor we could find. No frills, super straightforward. For the cables, only the one side is USB, so that's a bit idiosyncratic. But the cable for the camera and monitor are the same, so there's some useful backup there. When traveling, love plugging the camera into a usb powerpack and placing it wherever's convenient. Lens isn't very wide angle, but we mostly care about the sound monitoring anyways.

Adjustable sound and brightness and the range on this is pretty good. We use this when we are camping and our child is sleeping in the RV still. We can get a distance of about 30 to 40 feet. The battery on the screen doesn’t last too long, but it does seem to charge very fast.
