I purchased the two-pack avocado and ice cream patterns. The ties are much better than the velcro backs since they are more adjustable for our 6mo. We keep one in a Stashers pouch in our diaper backpack and one at home. Cleaning is easy with a quick wipe down, though this may change once we start feeding more solids. After starting with plastic bibs with the little one grabbing for the spoon and smearing oatmeal on her sleeves and collar, we love that these protect her clothes. We haven't needed to use the pouch to catch food yet, so it's tucked under the bib. The avocado design is cute. I didn't look closely at the ice cream design until they arrived. There are faces on the "ice cream" so the pattern could be interpreted either as ice cream or faces wearing cone hats.

Absolutely love!My 9 month old loves making a mess and pulls his bibs off constantly. With this smock not only is he adorable, but he can be as messy as his heart desires and he can't pull it off. It's not too thin or thick and it fits perfectly. Especially since my son is a little chunckster.Thank you!

Well this little smock didn't last three months. It was the first smock/ apron I got for my little guy. I liked the fact that it had a velcro fastener instead of a tie. I also really liked the color. It was a bit cheaper (by $1-2) so I grabbed this one up first. After we started feeding the little guy more than one meal a day, we had to get another one, and since the others on this listing were tie fasteners and there were not any patterns jumping out at me, I decided to get a bumbkins for our second apron/smock for the baby.Within the last few weeks this smock started to feel sticky and would stick to itself after being washed. We never put any of our aprons into the dryer, we always have them hang dry. At first I was dealing with it, but then it started to stick together at the arm sections, so I would have to peel it apart and it would be sticky on the inside. Looking at the fabric closely you could see it being stripped away in places, I should have taken a photo of it, but didn't think about doing a review until after I threw it away.Since we purchased this one, we had 2 bumkins, and 1 bapron. I decided to throw this one away this week and grab up another bumbkins smock/apron.

This fits my 6 month old perfect with room to grow. The sleeves have elastic so food can’t go into sleeves. Easy to put on. Easy to clean. Light weight. I bought this as soon as we started solids. My baby can’t throw food but loves to grab the spoon and try to help me feed her which can be messy but her clothes will stay clean! The floor...not so much lol

My little girl (14 months old) refuses to wear bibs. She rips them off immediately. I found this and to my surprise, she lets me put it on her. It keeps her clothes free of the total mess she makes when eating. It seems to stain easily (berries, tomato sauce, etc), but it doesn't bother me, it's not for show, it's for utility. I'm happy with this and would recommend this for all the parents constantly trying to get stains out of baby's clothes!

Update (4/9/20): I still recommend, but with one caveat. As these types of smocks/bibs go, baby/toddler slips their arms through the sleeves, and there's velcro at the back of the neck to make the smock stay on. Ordered three more of these (in various prints). Unlike the first order where the velcro was sewn on, the second more recent order had only adhesive on the velcro backings. So when you wash them, the velcro can come off. To save yourself a headache, wash the smocks in a mesh bag so you don't have to go through all the laundry to find the missing velcro piece. Haha. I stuck the velcro back on and then for good measure, hand-sewed a few stitches (got lazy) or within the perimeter (ok, didn't have time for this after the first one) to secure it. Still holding up well. Just know you might have to sew the velcro on.=====Original review: I'd recommend this.Pros:Washes well (mesh bag, gentle cycle, and air dry)Velcro closure (quick and easy, which is convenient and practical with a wriggly or hangry baby)Despite some of the reviews that said the quality was lacking and the smock threading didn't last, ours seems to be well-made and has lasted months of washing (and still going). I bought several of another brand (starts with B) but those tie at the neck and sometimes our baby doesn't have the patience to wait for us to tie it. So we use this one far more, which means more frequent washing, but still holding up well.It is a bit big on her, but that's ok. There's room to grow into it. And the sleeves have elastic so we pull them up so they don't get in her way.Cons:If there's one con, it's that due to the water resistant nature of the material, it traps heat. So sometimes the baby gets warm and sweaty. Most of the time, this is not an issue.

I ordered this baby smock/bib for my toddler now that she is starting finger food and eating on her own. I like how this bib long sleeve smock shirt covers her clothes and arms, it keeps her clean! It has a string on the back as added support where you can tie a bow to secure it well. Easy to clean. I use soap and water then hang to dry. Great bib/shirt to have for older babies/toddlers! Also a plus for arts and crafts times!

This is a nice smock, works very well for a baby that is learning to eat. The quality of the smoke is good. We have avocado pattern. Will buy one or two more.
