We love having plenty of these as our little ones are learning to play the game. That means less time we old folks have to spend retrieving them. They are good quality and really FLY! Our neighbors quickly learned to just toss them back over the fence when they found them in their backyard. :)

Had to order feather ones as these were so light they barely flew. We bright. Color faded quickly as well.

These are decent shuttlecocks for kids who are starting to play badminton. They are obviously made of nylon instead of feathers, so they can take a bit of beating while keeping the costs down. The different colors make it more attractive to kids as they'll end up making more games out of the colorful shuttlecocks than just badminton. My kid did just that, one of them including playing with a different color shuttlecock after every 5 tries. That said, the material of these is slightly thinner than other similar nylon shuttlecocks that I've had in the past. I've not yet had any issue with that but I am guessing these will tear apart quicker because of this. The multiple colors do make them give a fake look, I prefer the more authentic white shuttles but obviously kids like more color.Overall I am pretty satisfied with these. And for the price of less than a dollar for each shuttlecock, this is definitely a good buy.

These plastic birdies are well-built for the price. The structure is robust and has the feel of a real feather birdies, which are twice as expensive and won't last very long for beginners or intermediates. I have compared these to some other plastic birdies that are made cheaply (see pictures) and found that the Puleebo would make it more fun for the beginners as they travel more predictably and feel more naturally (nicely weighted and looks like real cork is used for the head) while not breaking the bank. This is the closest yet to the real feather birdies so I highly recommend these if you want a better experience while not wanting to spend too much as a beginner.

Ordered these shuttlecocks as replacements for the worn out and broken ones that came with my badminton set. The 12pak of white, yellow and pink seemed to be a no brainer for the amount of games we play at various times of the year. I decided to do a little research and found out surprisingly how accurate these little gems are. Even though they are a combination of plastic and synthetics for the base and skirt, the construction is well done and other than being slightly long they are regulation measurements and weighted, even down to the correct number of plastic "feathers" (16). The base is injected with foam to simulate the normal cork center, providing a good bounce. These fly true and at this price, the errand dog accidents become less frustrating. π

DESCRIPTION: This is a set of 12 plastic/nylon badminton shuttlecocks provided in a cardboard dispenser tube. Badminton is out of season here, as winter is beginning; so this review is limited to an inspection of the item and not use in play.I read about shuttlecocks to learn there are two types: duck feather shuttlecocks which are preferred by professionals, but have a shorter life as they can only be used until a feather is damaged; and plastic shuttlecocks, which are used for casual family/backyard badminton and have a much longer life. We only use these for casual backyard use, and so prefer the plastic type for their longer life.ββββββββPLUS:The shuttlecocks are provided in 3 colors: 4 each of white, pink, and yellow. The white and yellow provide good visibility on grass, while the pink provides good visibility on a concrete surface. The heavy cardboard tube makes a good storage container as well as a dispenser. It is a bit longer than necessary so the shuttlecocks do not get squeezed. This is an animal-free product (as compared to the duck feather type, in which feathers are taken from live birds.)ββββββββMINUS:The yellow shuttlecocks all have a slight defect - the 'feather' cone is not centered on the tip (See photo). The white and pink ones are all centered nicely. It is possible this may effect their flight characteristics. The markings on the cardboard tube are contradictory: In one place it says 4 each of three colors, but on the barcode area is says 8 each (which is incorrect, see photo). The incorrect quantity on the label is not a big concern, it is in tiny type and probably will not be noticed. The correct quantity is shown in larger type.ββββββββMY RATING:4 stars, discounted 1 star for the yellow shuttlecocks not being well centered.

A bit smaller than expected. You get a lot of them in the tube. They perform fine for backyard use. I did notice some rough spots on the part you hit. But considering how many you get it's hardly a problem.I've hit the high end birdies or shuttlecocks with feathers and it's definitely awesome, especially indoor, but you need the accompanying nice racket. All in all looks exactly like the pictures you see.
