I was finding it difficult to unscrew or screw in something tightly held. My old ones kept damaging the screws. These are a perfect replacement for your old, worn-out ones and handle the torc applied to go in either direction.

Robertson square drive screws are great. Being in the U.S. we don't run into them that oftne unlike our Canadian brethren who rightfully laugh at us every time they hear about a phillips head screw camming out and stripping the head. If you do electrical work, you will typically find square drive screws on outlets and switches.A few years ago I got lucky enough to start using these (on outlets and the like) and I really prefer them. This set contains all the necessary sizes that you are likely to run into in a convenient storage case. The set is labelled "Taiwanese steel" which means that these are made and have quality very close to Chinese products. They are not the best quality but given how few Robertson (square drive) screws one encounters in the U.S. they are more than adequate for my needs.

When we bought our 07 Yamaha AR210 8 or 9 years ago, I was slowly going over things to address issues from previous owners. When I got to needing to lift the floor, in the main cabin area, to access the fuel cell and fuel pumps, I found it was held down with all these fasteners that have a square drive. At the time, I attempted to search for a bit that was large enough to fit them but came up empty handed… so I improvised by chucking up 3/16” key stock into my cordless drill and it worked like a charm… until this past weekend when Im in need of lifting the floor again and one screw would just not back out and was just twisting the key stock. Back to the internet I went to find out what size this was. Converting 3/16” to mm I finally found that Robertson #4 was the bit that I needed… which brought me here to Amazon for this kit. The price point and variety made it very attractive so I bought. Well it did the job perfectly. Chucked into my impact driver first and it did nothing. Before chucking it into a regular cordless I used an adjustable first so that I could tell how much torque I was applying to avoid damage to the actual faster (all stainless = $$$). It was able to back the screw out with no issue. It was also very nice to have the correct bit when reinstalling. The keystock works… but its not right and there was damage to the fasteners as a result. All in all, im a happy camper.

It seems like every piece of furniture or chair (and increasing numbers of products) you need allen wrenches to assemble. The two choices were use the included wrench (usually too small in my big hands to use very well at all) or go find one that you own which wasn't terrible but took time and then more time to figure out which the right one was. Then you spend eternity (well it felt that way) spinning the wrench slowly and cramping over time as you spin it 1/4 turn as that is all that will fit and you have to pull out and reposition.These things however are awesome. First of all they are in a tray and easy to check every bit quickly to find the right one. Second you attach to a cordless drill and spin slowly not to strip but still get it done in an absolute fraction of the time. Also you can buy English and metric sets so you have all the choices right there together and are very reasonably priced without having to refinance your car. Finally, if it is a bolt or screw that is really deep (often meaning the included wrench would barely worked if at all) you put an extension bit on these and no longer have to perform acrobatics to reach.These bits may not be necessary but you will have one less reason to curse Ikea or Walmart and you will also be able to retain your sanity much better (probably). Also you can then throw the cardboard box full of all the old allen wrenches away so you can finally park your car in the garage again.

I'm downsizing my shop from a few hundred sq. ft. to a few toolboxes. These small sets were perfect to organize my toolbox. The quality of the tools is very good and the individual cases for Torx, Allen Head SAE and Allen Head Metric make them easy to store and easy to grab what you need. This is an excellent seller to do online business with. They contacted me a few days after I received the product to make sure it met my expectations. It did. They also wanted to make sure it arrived undamaged. The product itself was fine. The case, however, was cracked a bit. They promptly sent a new product in an intact case. Couldn't be happier.
