Anyone looking for a solid speed bag platform at an affordable price need look no further. This came highly recommended by some very advanced and experienced "baggers" and I too highly recommend it. I own two of them in my gym now and I'm considering putting one up in my basement as well. Can't go wrong at this price. I've used platforms that cost double (or more) that didn't perform this well! I like a thicker backboard, but I have ZERO complaints about the one that came with it. Besides, the frame alone is worth this price. The solid backboard is an added plus.

ありきたりなデザインじゃない、赤い支柱アーム部分のかっこよさに惚れて購入！赤い部分は想像通りかっこいい！！だけど、パンチングボールを吊り下げる部分の木の板が…ちょっと味気なさすぎる。写真通りなので分かってはいたが…この赤いアームには黒色の板とかのがかっこよかったのでは…。他のパンチングボールを利用したことがないので、安定性やスイベル等の良し悪しは分かりません。高さ調整は、4つのネジを回すだけなので簡単ではありますが、面倒でもあります！笑設置も自分でしてないので分かりませんが、そこまで難しいものではないと思います。ただ重たいです。価格の高さと木の板の色味で減点しましたが、デザイン性の良さで満足です☆頑丈で耐久性も高そうです。あとは、パッキャオのようにリズミカルに殴るのみー！！！

This is a very sturdy unit, am not getting any vibration, and is fairly easy to adjust. Highly recommend for the money.

I was debating getting the more expensive model but I'm happy I bought this one. It's perfect. Make sure you mount it to something stable. I mounted two 2x6s to my studs, and then mounted this to those boards for increased stability. Doesn't shake when I'm smashing away

When all of a sudden we had our two college age kids living with us due to the global pandemic, we decided to order this. We had zero experience with a speed bag platform but WOW has it been fun for all of us. It’s not only sturdy but it looks amazing too. With our heights ranging from 5’6” - 6’1” it’s great to be able to adjust it so we can all use it. We haven’t needed anything to weigh it down and we’ve got a D1 athlete hitting it hard daily. This is an amazing product.

Just installed the Balazs speed bag platform today (5/11/20) with professional help. Product arrived well packaged and with all the components needed. The instructions were fine. We bolted the mounting rails directly to concrete cinder block in the garage then attached the main support and wood drum. The main support attached to the wood drum is heavy and bulky and mounting it to the rails required two people, one to hold & the other to secure it in place. Once in place, the height of the wood drum can be adjusted to the desired height using the four hand knobs. With the swivel in place, a speed bag was attached. Although I am a beginner at this exercise, the product appears solid and well build. Nice to have a Made in America product to purchase. Good luck with your research.

Not easy to install. The bolts for the platform are not long enough for the nut to screw on, not even for a washer. Also one of the knobs will not tighten so I’m afraid after hitting it for a while it’s gonna start to slide. Just sent an inquiry to the vendor. I do like the thickness of the wood platform compared to other products. I will write a follow up review later.FOLLOW UPknow the difference between a flathead bolt and a carriage bolt. This was My mistake but still obviously the instructions can be more clear if many others are making the same mistake not just me. I assumed a bolt with a smooth head was referred as a flathead that’s what messed me up. I’m still sticking to my opinion that’s it’s a difficult install but great product once installed correctly.

This is a really rock-solid platform. I upgraded from a free standing platform to really get a solid bracket. This really delivers! This is a little on the expensive side (there are definitely more expensive ones), but this is a premium item.Two words of advice:1. When assembling, I found it easier to mount the rails on the wall first, and then I mounted the V bracket to the rails. They tell you to assemble the whole thing first. Seemed a lot harder to me.2. It is adjustable in height, but it is not as easy as those that allow you to simply turn a crank. If you're going to be doing it a lot, I would recommend one of those.I love it!

I have an Everlast heavy bag/speed bag stand and the platform for the speed bag cracked after seven months of use. I did alot of reading on speed bag platforms and decided to try out the Balazs i-Box. The instructions were outstanding and I installed it on the wall of my garage - mounted on two 2x4 pieces of wood. There is no comparision between this Balazs product and the heavy bag/speed bag stand I was previously using. The Balazs i-Box is extremely sturdy and super fast compared to my previous stand. I had to re-learn the speed bag due to the increased speed. The old saying still holds true - you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.
