A much better product than the AC Delco I normally buy. Everything works as expected last one from Delco the o rings did not fit I had to use the old ones

This filter came wrapped in plastic just like the old AC Delco #12664429 used to. I know Parker/Racor makes the AC Delco filter as well as the Baldwin filter. AC Delco has changed their design and packing to a lesser quality. The AC Delco filter is no longer sealed in plastic to keep out any contaminants. Quality control is important to me.

If ordered from MadJack Diesel Performance - you will get the correct factory replacement filter. The picture on Amazon was not accurate but based on other customers comments they confirmed they got the correct part.I'm confirming what others stated that if its ordered though MadJack Diesel Performance - this is a factory replacement (open bottom for the water sensor) and the picture was not accurate. I saw other sellers offer it but stuck with a seller that was reputable and proven.

All these negative reviews when people are just ill informed. This is a new design from Baldwin. It is a single stage filter (unlike the TP3018) and it is completely normal to be able to see through it. It is still rated for 4 microns and 99% water removal (same as TP3018). This was discussed in the Duramax Forum site and this filter was tested with good results.
