I am extremely disappointed in this item. It's cheap and flimsy. The guide holes were not drilled properly, so nothing lines up. The notches That hold the shelves were done backwards so all the nail holes show. It says each shelf can hold 10 pounds.But I would never put that much weight on them. This was a huge disappointment. Don't waste your money.

This smaller sized ladder shelf is just the right size and color to fit in perfectly with my farmhouse decor. It is sturdy enough to hold a great deal of items, and is stylish. I'm glad I bought it!

As the title says the shelf is nice i just wish they would restock the espresso one. I had bought an additional one and went to build it about a month after receiving it and upon opening the box i had learned that the shelf has damage, and it cannot be built so im stuck with 1 good shelf and 1 shelf that cannot be put together and can't be returned

First, I love the look and it seems pretty sturdy. I have a nook in my living room that was a constant void which I didn’t know what to fill it with. This is a perfect fit!Love it!BUT—it was a huge pain to put together. I don’t think I’ve sworn so much at furniture in…ever!I did the first shelf and when I got to the second, it wouldn’t fit! I tried for half an hour to get it to go, finally I decided to move on and build the rest-if it would go.It did!I finished it all (with help) and then went back in the end to attach the second shelf, which finally went in properly.Love it-and can’t wait to fill it with Knick-Knacks.

Bit tedious to assemble but husband did it lol. simple and useful addition. Price is right for the quality which is very acceptable. Love it actually. We were worried it would maybe require stability hook up on the wall, but not needed. Able to carry items, and is secure. Color is a great rich grey and fits right in with a bit of contrast.

Even better than pictured in the item description. Very easy to put together with tools and hardware conveniently divided separately into plastic pouches. For the price, this is a perfect display, bookshelf to add some character to a small space.
