I am not a handy person. I got headache just reading the instructions and seeing all the parts. I do not trust any reviews that said easy assembly.It took me a while to make decision after I watch assembly video 10 times. For me, if easy level is 1 in the video, it could still level 7 or above.Therefore, I still took me 4 hours to assembly this easy assembly shoe rack. I got confused reading the diagram, I wasted 1 hour inserting the long one into short holes. I wish the picture and parts just label with a b c d for each part including nails.I made after 4 hours. If I could do it, 99% of people can do it. If I get second one, it will only take me 2 hours. I am very sure most people can finish it it within 30 minutes.Now, i have used this one for 3 months. It works fine. Amazon has pushed me to review immediately, I don't want to do it. I wanted to try it for a while and give an honest review.

My girlfriend and I were looking for something small to put in a very specific space between the refrigerator and back door. This fit the bill nicely. It allows us to easily access our most used footwear before going outside. An extra plus is the flat storage under the bench lid. It is a great place to keep gloves, flashlights, pet leashes or anything else you want to grab before leaving the house. The item was well packaged by the manufacturer and included spare hardware in case something was missing. The bamboo looks really good and was finished well for about 95% of the product with no scratches or cracks.A little tip: Follow the instructions when assembling, but don't tighten everything. Leave it a little loose. Place the finished rack on a very flat level surface. Tighten down the bolts that hold the legs to the top, then tighten down the screws that hold the shelves. That should make sure it sits level on the floor without rocking. The adhesive rubber feet fit well and will protect your floor, but it is a good idea to cut small 45° angles on 2 corners of each pad to account for the legs having rounded edges on the outside. This will keep dust and hair from sticking to the exposed adhesive on the rounded corners.

We shopped all the shoe racks for the front door and chose this one because of the color as it fits our home decor and fits in a small space perfectly near our front door. Bonus is that it has a hidden compartment to hide Knick knacks out of the way i.e. dog leashes and dog braces.It was fairly easy to put together despite that some of the holes didn’t line up correctly so had to put extra elbow power into it. Overall, we are very pleased with the product and wished we got it sooner.

Easy to assemble, simple. However, not strong enough to seat safely. As soon as I sat down, the top rack creaked and explicitly cracked. Keep in mind I’m about 160lbs and didn’t even sit down aggressively. Be careful when you sit down! Not so sturdy as claimed!!

I bought this because we needed a smaller shoe rack for our entry way. Wanted a cabinet, but couldn't find one that matched our living room (I like to call it industrial farmhouse because of dark wood with metal accents). This was perfect!I put it together solo in about 25 minutes. All the pieces come with it, no extra tools needed. It is sturdy and fits about 6-8 shoes depending on shoe size. The only downside is the screws are gold and not covered. However they are hardly noticeable I feel like.For the price it is a great buy.

I have been searching for over a year for a side table to fit in the narrow space next to my futon that matches the wood. This was literally the perfect fit! I can’t believe how well it matches. It’s also perfectly proportioned for typical futons as the length is about the same as a futon arm.This is a great table for tech organization!Now all my cables, cords, and power strips are organized. You can zip tie them to the bamboo slats. The slats also allow ventilation for things like routers that can heat up on carpets, etc.I can’t speak to its longevity (I’ve had it a few hours), use as a shoe rack/weight capacity, but I easily assembled in less than an hour. Also seems like would be easy to dissemble for people who move often and it all fits back into the top.I actually ordered a second one to use for entry way/shoes. Note that boots (including hiking boots) will not fit on the shelves - but you could optionally omit the middle shelf and store fewer shoes.The under top/folding storage could actually fit a power strip if you drilled a hole for the cord - might be a perfect DIY charging/tech station.I have no idea why it comes with a shoe horn (I’d like to order without that product). We’ll see how this holds up, but I’m very pleased to have found this table!

The bench arrived in a well-packed, sturdy, undamaged box right on time. I was a bit dubious that the bench would be as sturdy as advertised, but it is just that: remarkably sturdy. It is very well machined and built, the bamboo is both beautiful and hard. Assembly was reasonably easy though the directions require you pay attention. :-) The storage compartment on top is very handy and just what I was looking for. I am very pleased.

Bambus war sehr dünn und einige der Teile waren zersplittert. Ich musste es zurückgeben, da nicht zu gebrauchen. Rücksendung auf eigene Kosten nach UK! Auserdem die Masse falsch angegeben. Die Bank ist 70x29x45

Really sturdy, solid wood, fixings are proper nuts & bolts and heavy duty screws. Very pleased with this. Comes with a free shoe horn...does anyone still use shoe horns??

PROS: o Seems very solid o I like the storage area in the seatCONS: o The storage area is VERY shallow, about 1.5 inches in depthOverall, this is a very nice shoe rack/bench. Went together relatively quickly and everything aligned and no missing hardware. I really didn't comprehend how shallow the storage area underneath the seat is... it is so shallow that a heavy pair of insulated gloves barely fits. But overall I love the concept and the implementation. I have a similar product that is made of plastic, and while the storage area is deeper, the bamboo used to fabricate this product is much more visually appealing. I suspect in the long run the plastic version will hold up better due to it being inherently impervious to water/moisture.
