I used this with a 15 gallon yard sprayer that I added a boom sprayer to, the solenoid does get hot by the end of spraying my ¼ acre lot, but nothing to concerning

I would not think the coil should get too hot to touch, but mine dose. I am using it as a safety shut off in series with a positive pressure switch should my Air blower fail or I lose power the valve shuts off the gas flow.

I converted my brothers and my generators to run propane or gas. Used this as a shut off for the propane when the engine dies. Worked perfect.

Works great. Used it for 6 months, going on/off every day. I mistakenly thought that the 2W was 2 watts. It gets very hot so I'm guessing it uses more than 2W. Otherwise I am satisfied with this.
