Very heavy sturdy quality. Looks great and I believe it will give great protection. Installation looked extremely easy. Just 4 bolts right? Yes just 4 bolt but we had one bolt they would not line up for anything. We ended up grabbing the bottle neck jack and jacking it until I could wiggle the bolt in. Tightening the inner bolts back onto the number was super difficult. Thankfully we didn’t have to fully remove the bumper to do. Just loosed the bolts until they were about to fall out. Do not tighten any of the bolts down until they are all in place. Trust me this will save you a lot of time. Just get them started and once it’s all lined up tighten them down. I am super please with the protection I will now have. My only real complaints is how a small section of the bumper bent, probably from tightening it down too tight and the overhand of the skid play past the bumper. It doesn’t stick out much but I would prefer it to line up or tuck under. Either way I am happy with the skid plate and love the protection and look it gives.

Can’t install this skid plate being that it cannot clear the crash bar for the bottom two bolts to be even remotely close to lining up with the holes.Find another product from somewhere else.Gave this a 1 star on ease of installation because… you CAN’T install it since the plate itself can’t get passed the crash bar..

The skid plate is an excellent product but the condition I received is lacking. Received item timely and as I opened, loose washers fell out of package. Missing bolts and lock washers. Package had 6 washers when contents lists indicates 4 washers,4 lock nuts, 4 bolts. Box had 6 washers, 1 bolt,1 nut, and a piece of fuel line...Skid plate is good quality but now I have to go get hardware, that’s if I just dont return.

To me a skid plate is worth it just to protect your steering parts. I have the Rubicon so I was worried about the electric disconnect as well. To expensive to replace and with some of the trails I've been on better safe than sorry.

Works great with aftermarket bumpers... will not fit with stock bumpers!!

Did not fit my 2019 jl brackets had to be modified to fit but looks great after making new brackets and repowder coating. Also does not come with spacer plates witch causes bumper to mount out of square made my own plate

I ordered this to finish off the front of my '15 JKU.The fit for the most part was good. I did have a problem with the front bolt holes being 1/4 narrower then the bumper holes.I knew there wasn't a problem with the jeep because the Barricade trail force front bumper slipped off with ease.I took care of the problem with a large round file. And in 20 minutes I was bolting the front bumper back on.Total time just under 3 hours.
