I wanted to add more light under some plant stands, and these looked like they'd be a good fit. They're working well for that, but the tape strips included didn't hold the lights well. I used some other double-sided magical tape that I have, and so far that's holding well.

Got these for use inside a cabinet. They were easy to install. My biggest concern was that they might heat up and damage sensitive leaves, but so far this hasn't been the case. It's only been a couple of days, but so far so good

So far I really like these. They are very bright and compact. I do wish they had a solid attachment option, like a clip that you could screw in similar to what they have on some of the Barrina strip lights.I used these in a corner that wasn’t getting enough light for my Jade plant. I mounted them under a floating shelf for a clean look. I also placed three of them where I have some plants on a raised divider in my house. They look much cleaner than the halo lights I had there before. I used the magnetic mount which I attached to a clear shoe display holder. I think the plants will do much better now.Using my light meter I’m getting almost 1500 FC’s at 6” from the light. This is way more light then other similar sized grow lights I have used.

Very strong for a small hockey puck light. The magnet is strong on both the adhesive and magnetic sides. I tried it over this Hoya and will leave it here, really good.

I've heard of Barrina before and I can see why this brand is recommended by many. The lights are constructed very well and are heavier than many similar style LED grow lights. They are very bright for each light only using 9 watts! The LEDs are covered with a plastic lens. Two mounting options are available, including a magnet with adhesive metal disks for a solid shelf or cabinet mounting, or attaching directly to metal, and zip tie loops. The 2-pack included both a long and short connector cable. Up to 12 of these lights can be chained together to function off a single outlet. There are large vents on the bottom and sides of the lights to dissipate heat and the lights remain relatively cool to the touch. There is a little heat when the lights are left on for a long duration, but if you're not obscuring the LED lens or placing them directly on your plants it should be fine. The side and bottom vents mean that these lights are not waterproof, so I would not use them in misting areas.I opted for the version without a timer, as I use smart plugs to control my lighting, so there is a simple on/off switch located on the power cable. There is no dimmer to adjust the brightness.Simple to install, very bright, and well constructed product. Would definitely recommend to any plant enthusiast.

As someone who adores houseplants but lives in a home with little direct light, I have purchased and used literally dozens of light systems over the decades. These little puck lights are easily among the best I've ever used.I ordered a two-pack. They are magnetic and the magnets are very strong. Since most of my plants are on an oversized cast-iron baker's rack with glass shelves, installation was insanely simple. I just stuck it to the underside of the shelf above. Perfect.The design of these pucks is intelligent and thoughtful. The cords have gaskets at the ends to prevent water getting into the electronics--so smart. Each puck also has a silicone cover on the outlet side so if it's the last one in a string, that connection is covered too. Smart. And even with this two pack, they sent two different sized cords so I could put the pucks close together or far apart, depending on need.The lights are bright. I really like that they have an inline rocker switch--manual. That way I plug all my lights into one power strip and then that power strip is plugged into a smart outlet. I set the timer with my phone and I can tell my amazon Alexa to turn the lights on at other times if I want to.I'll be purchasing more of these. They've worked flawlessly so far. Well worth the money.

These lights have worked really well. I have several lights for my plants but they've all been either clips or stands, and that doesn't always work in all places, plus it doesn't always look very nice. So I thought I'd try these since I can put them over the plants in out-of-sight places. It's worked out great and I don't have the eyesore of clips and big long lights detracting from the beauty of the plants or from my living room overall.They've done a great job keeping my plants healthy. I moved and my plants lost their wonderful huge north facing window that gave them perfect indirect sunlight. Lights like this have helped them get the light they need and now that I've found this style I can give them light and still be happy with how the overall setup looks.I have some bonsai trees I'm about to attempt to grow from seeds and these lights will be perfect for them thanks to the heat they put out. And because I can set them under a shelf I can keep the heat from overheating the entire room.
