This is a really nicely made elbow protector for fastpitch softball and baseball. It is comfortable and does not inhibit ROM at all. It is a great size for my 14yo daughter who is 5'3" & 100lbs - tall and long limbed. It fits her well - comfortable and effective coverage. It is lightweight, has an adjustable soft elastic band that holds secure on the bicep without getting into her elbow. She is a lefty and has a tendency to pull her shoulders back on pitches that look inside - common for lefties. This gives her the confidence to keep her shoulders in & elbows up without fear of taking a pitch off her elbow. The guard is well made from comfortable & breathable fabrics over a strong lightweight plastic core that disperses impact velocity to protect the elbow & upper arm. It does not retain odor and is easy to wash off with water & soap. It has been very effective in helping raise her batting average & it looks cool too.

Quality materials and workmanship. Padding and stitching are good. The method by which you heat the inner guard in water to soften and form it is clever, not unlike a mouth guard. I especially like that it can be remolded later if needed. Only time will tell how well this holds up to 13u baseball, but I am hopeful.

My daughter made a 10U travel team and I was concerned about her getting hit by pitches. She is also on another travel sport team and we could not be out for an injury. I originally ordered this elbow guard for my own piece of mind but my daughter puts in our without any prompting. I think it gives her some more confidence in the box. She is incredibly thin and I always struggle when something says it will fit adults and children. This elbow guard was very easy to mold her her arm. She does have excess velcro to go around her arm but even if she didn't use the velcro, the guard would stay on her arm. She preferred it a little tighter so after boiling it in the water for two minutes, we molded it to her arm and left it on for about 5 minutes just to make sure it was set. I left it out to fully set overnight and she was able to use it the next day in a game. She is easily able to hand it to the 1st base coach when she reaches the base but sometimes she leaves it on. It doesn't really bother her when she is running. Excellent item and I am so glad that this was an option for her to use this year. Also I really like the fact that if you need to reshape the guard, you can put in back in a ziplock bag to heat it up and remold it.

This elbow guard is very nice quality, well made and fits my 13 yr old son well. He says it's comfortable and stays in place while at bat. Definitely recommend!
