This product works great! It really helped with breaking in my son’s baseball glove and shaping it as well. High quality product that will for sure last for years to come which makes it an excellent value. 5/5 definitely recommend!!

So there's not much you can mess up with a baseball mallet. This is one solid piece of wood, so you don't have to worry about the end "ball" flying off when working in a glove. It's the right size end ball and it's comfortable to grip while breaking in a glove. No complains here! Two thumbs up!

We’ve recently gotten into baseball and just bought some new gloves. I got this mallet in hopes to breaking them in quicker and more efficiently, I actually didn’t know these thing’s existed until just recently lol. It arrived quickly and was securely packaged to prevent damage. You can definitely tell right away that the mallet is made from solid maple just from the weight, it feels extremely solid and sturdy. This mallet is one piece of wood shaped on a lathe, it’s not just two pieces glued together. I can see the craftsmanship just by looking at it. There’s also a knob on the end similar to a bat to prevent it from slipping from your hand. It’s super easy to use, extremely helpful and I’d totally recommend!

I bought my son and I new gloves the beginning of last year's baseball season. Good leather gloves seem to take longer to break in.A year later my glove is still pretty stiff...and I've done most tricks to breaking in a glove. Except using this.I saw this and figured time to give it a try. There was a baseball equipment manager who has videos online about breaking in gloves and one tool he used was a baseball mallet. Now I see why.It definitely makes a better pockets and stretches the leather to give the glove a better fit and flexibility.I started with my glove which is an infielders' glove. About 5 minutes a bashing the palm and webbing it definitely has better flex and pocket. Then I tried on my son's glove. I did buy him a better quality glove because I figured it would grow with him until high school.I coach youth baseball so I'll keep in my trunk for the kids who have those new gloves they can't close. And there are quite a few.Solid well made mallet. Now I'd recommend to anyone who is buying a new glove or just got one to get this mallet.Definitely would like to try their glove cleaner and conditioner products too.

My husband breaks in gloves for a living and is always on the lookout for a nice glove mallet. What he likes about this one is that it's made from a single solid piece of wood. (Some of others have a round piece that is glued onto the handle and it comes apart after enough use.) He does wish the handle was longer. He also says the handle is a little too smooth/slick, but that's remedied by adding some bat grip on the end, so no big deal. He isn't a fan of the brand being cut into the round piece - he has to be very careful not to hit that side into the glove - doesn't want to damage the glove.
