This is a a vey sturdy rim and its breakaway, for the price its a great deal. Good breakaway rims go easily over $100 even $200, so for less than $60 its a steal. I only give 3 stars because, thereś no instructions, the bolt that came with the package are kind of flimsy and have a mechanism on that Iḿ not sure how to use but I think they are some type of anchor for wall. The net provided is flimsy and started to be undone in the packaging. Now the really main issue is the holes in the rim to attach it. If youŕe going to place on a wall you might be fine, buyt the holes dont fit 2 differents backboard that I have, I had to drill 4 new holes in that thick steel. You'll probably need to get bolts if intend to plave it on a backboard. Since the holes on backboards are much closer than the pre-drill ones, you need to drill behind the breakaway mechanism, so you have to take the rim apart, install the back plate to the board and than put the rim on it.
