I definitely don't think this is at a caliber for an adult basketball player but I think it's perfect for the teen high school player! Solid practice and ability building. Pretty solid choice.

Ordered this for my daughter, who’s already an amazing dribbler—they even call her the female Kyrie Irving! Mainly got it for the mat, and everything else was just a bonus.Mat is a great accountability tool – She tested herself with it and loves the challenge.Perfect for her room – She’s always dribbling, so having this in her space is a win.Hand gripper is a hit – She could sit there all day strengthening her hands.Great aesthetic – Fits perfectly in a sports-themed room.Awesome training tool for any hooper looking to level up!

While this set is advertised for building basketball skills, I think it's also a good starter set for exposing older adults to new agility and coordination skills at home. Grip strength is essential for performing daily tasks and preventing falls. The set includes a hand grip strengthener with adjustable tension and a counter to track usage. It could be used while sitting and watching TV. Resistance bands offer a low-impact way to improve muscle strength and flexibility without putting excessive strain on joints. There are 5 bands in this set in different colors, each 24" and clearly marked from "X-Light" to "X-Heavy". The bands are pliable and inviting to the touch. An agility ladder use can improve dynamic balance, agility and coordination, and enhance reaction time. The one in this set has 12 plastic rungs that can be spaced as needed on long parallel flat nylon(?) lines. They can be laid pretty flat on the floor without tying them down. There's also a dribble and footwork training pad that can be used to practice simple footwork drills and changes in direction and speed. It's slightly grippy on the bottom, and about half the thickness of a yoga mat. I originally got this set thinking it would be good for a preteen showing interest in sports, but that young person showed only a polite passing interest. (I suspect that was more about my own inability to demonstrate much relevance, and it was competing with too many other interesting things that caught his attention.) This set seems like a reasonable opportunity to try out the four different training modalities for just $10 each, and if some of them seem useful, you may want to upgrade to higher level training equipment.
