I use this to walk my dogs in the freezing cold weather. I just pull them over my regular clothes and walk right outside. It keeps me warm and comfortable. Before these overalls, I would wear my long coat but my legs would still freeze. The wind would just go right under the coat. These overalls makes it so easy to jump into them, zip up and walk outside. I’m no longer rushing my dogs to go to potty outside because I’m freezing. :)

For the price, these are hard to beat. The insulation isn’t going to be enough to keep you warm in somewhere like Minnesota in guessing but for here in Virginia, they definitely make the cold here a bit more bearable. My only complaint is they seem a bit short in the torso. I find them a bit tight and pull down on my shoulders. The sleeve and leg length is more than sufficient - the button snaps on the ankles work to seal up against your boots to keep a draft out. Same can be said for the snaps on the wrists to seal against your gloves.

Heavyweight but cozy. High quality, durable, elastic waist offers freedom and flattering contour. Comfortable, easy to move but looks crisp. Material is infinitely softer than Dickies, thick like a Carhartt mid-weight. Highly recommend.

I'm an ex-heavy construction worker, ex-mechanic and retired Army engineer. Years of experience with coveralls, clothes, comfort, usability and practicality. I am 6 foot 1 inch at 250 pounds and the 3XL US just fits perfectly. A little snug putting on over the shoulders, but once on there is plenty of breathing room, room for at least a few medium layers like a heavy winter shirt, sweater and an insulated wind breaker. I have a pair of heavy winter snow pants that would fit under these comfortably, without hindering movement. These are a very comfortable and flexible material, not stiff as a board like some brands. The seams are strong, double and triple stitched in some spots. The zipper is an average grade, not an extra heavy duty as you'd expect like other brands. There's plenty of room for sliding over large Thinsulated winter boots. There is no mid section string for pulling taught at the waist, although it looks like it has the sewn in conduit for a string, and no fasteners to close the bottom pants legs gap, not even a velcro. The wrists do have one button, two or three would've been nice for more adjusting room, but the material is thin enough that you can purchase a snap button kit to fix that. I have not tested these in the cold yet or the water resistance level, but for working outside and protecting clothes underneath, they would most certainly do that, with enough room for you to choose your own level of clothes for warmth. There is no velcro at all, only zippers. Has two zippered chest pockets, slightly angled to prevent things from falling out. It has two decent sized non-zippered side pockets, you wont be fitting thick winter gloved hands into, smaller gloves will definitely fit. It has two side access slits to get to your inside pants pockets. Otherwise an amazing product priced just right for people on a budget. If I just use these a few times to salt the walkway and shovel, I will be very happy. Unfortunately at this stage in life I wont be testing these dropping a transmission or changing a U-joint like ages ago. I'll leave that kinda review up to the younger mechanics :-) Pretty sure many will be happy with purchasing a pair of these cover-alls. Any questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer.Update: Be aware these are supposedly water resistant, not water proof. I just got done replacing an electrical outlet underneath my mobile home, there was a light drizzle out, I was laying on dry cardboard, by the time I was done and back inside, my shirt was wet right around my waist. Even got zapped a couple times, even though the breaker was shut off. I wouldn't have if I wasn't grounded through the wet side of the coveralls.

Bought these for my boyfriend who works outside year round. He said these keep him incredibly warm through the day (almost TOO warm sometimes and this is in the middle of a Canadian winter). Lot's of room to layer underneath and the waterproofing works well too. Highly recommend. Great price!

OMG, in my opinion and experience with fabrics these coveralls are far from insulated! They have a paper thin quilted lining and the duck canvas is extremely thin.Don't waste your money or time on these coveralls if you need them for the colder/snowy climates like Canada.Made in Bangladesh.

I think insulated coveralls are one of the most useful clothing items around. They are a staple of my fall, winter, and early spring wardrobe. I am always looking for the mythical perfect pair, so I was excited for this relatively inexpensive option. The Good: Did I mention the price? Some of the other good things, which are typically standard in insulated coveralls: a two-way chest zipper and decent pockets. There are two chest pockets; each has a vertical zipper. I like that orientation, but others might not. The waist pockets are of an okay size. They aren't insulated. The rear pockets seem fine. They don't have any sort of closing, but that's typical for lower-cost coveralls. The insulation seems appropriate for mildly cold weather. (I live in Minnesota.) I would think fall and spring or a warmer winter day. Maybe 20 - 40 F.I like the outer fabric. It feels more like a heavy denim than a heavy duck which means it's pretty flexible and comfortable. (Again, though, it also feels perhaps more appropriate for cool rather than cold weather depending on your personal temperament.)The Potentially Bad:The leg openings are only to just above the ankle. That's not a big deal for me as I normally put my coveralls on first, and then my boots. However, if someone likes to put their boots on first, then that isn't as convenient as a higher opening. What I disliked more was that the leg openings are fastened with snaps rather than a zipper. This would allow, I think, snow and wind to find their way in a little easier. The snaps also seem to unsnap quite readily (which could be good or bad). I've never seen only snaps used before, and I do prefer a zipper. The fit is okay, but not perfect for me (6'1", 245). The legs are a bit short, but that's to be expected because the coveralls don't come in a tall size. The arms, though, are long--probably nearly as long as they'd be in a tall size. It's still okay, just not as good as it could be. (Other reviews have warned that these shrink. I haven't washed these, but if they do shrink they would probably be too short.)The arm openings don't have any sort of fabric cuffs as higher-end coveralls do. They can be somewhat tightened with a snap, but they still seem pretty open even with the snap fastened.Overall Thoughts:As a budget pair, these are okay. If you need coveralls for extended cold weather, and can afford it, I would consider spending around $30 more for a good pair of Walls, Dickies, or Key/Polar King. (Walls's coveralls are hard to distinguish sometimes, though; there are Walls that are much lighter insulation like these and Walls that are little sturdier insulation-wise that I prefer.)(For significant winter weather, Carhartt's Yukons still can't be meet IMO although if you prefer a nylon outer shell, Refrigiwear's are comparable.)However, as a second pair of coveralls, these might be a good choice, especially if you're looking for something when the temperatures get cool but not cold. They might also be good for unheated buildings (garage, shop, barn, etc.) where the possibility of wind/snow/ice getting in the legs isn't as high. And they're definitely better than NO insulated coveralls!
