What did you expect? Broken lugs? They do exactly what they are designed for, and hold tension well. I sprayed them black to match my other hardware, and they look much better than what was on previously (fan of the claw hook vs regular).

I was looking for the original style that I had on my drums but these looked like they could hold up a little better than the style I had that kept breaking. Installed them and they look so much better than the original and hold up very well.

These work well. They are a little thinner than the originals, bit not cheaply made, either.
