The single thickness under the leg removes excess bulk and interference, facilitating the accurate delivery of leg aids. Made in luxurious Bates leather, with a webbing core to ensure they will not stretch and cause unevenness. Specifications: Width: Approximately 1" Material: Leather

These are the best flat stirrup leathers. Very well made and , unlike other brands, they are leather.

I bought a saddle that did not allow for regular stirrups. After decades of thick leather non-stretch stirrup leathers, I was annoyed at the change. Now I wonder how I ever did without webbers. These are light weight, easily adjusted and flat to your leg. My only complaints: Not as much adjustable range. My leg is long, my other ride is short. We barely share the medium. And a big one: the "T" can damage a soft leather flap. I keep my saddle through conditioned to minimize that problem.

I've never used webbers before, only traditional stirrup leathers, but traditional leathers caused discomfort when I rode - the leathers and flap dug into my inner thigh, very uncomfortable. My trainer suggested these instead, and they've fixed the problem entirely. My saddle rides much more comfortably and I haven't felt any difference in sturdiness. These are great!

Loved to concept and comfort. Disappointed in the durability. Ride 2-3 times per week and one of the holes roped out after 8 months

While they eliminate bulk under the leg and allow for easy stirrup adjustments, they suffer from mediocre leather quality, stretching, and are not compatible with many stirrups on the market; hence my 3-star rating. It should be noted that Bates has since come out with a newer version of these in their "luxe" leather, which may solve some of the leather quality issues. They are more costly, but I think worth looking into.CONSIDERATIONS...*BEFORE you mount - make sure the T-bar is securely fastened AND that the loop of the leather is centered on the stirrup bar.*Hole Spacing. I believe these are about 1 inch apart. If you're used to half-inch increments, you may want to consider this.*Length. I'm 5'8" with long legs, so I ordered the 32 with ample room to grow (I think I'm on the 2nd hole from the top).*Stirrup Options. The t-bar is wider than leather, so you might find them difficult to thread through the eye of your stirrups.WHAT I LOVE...*Closer Contact; no buckle means no "bump" under the leg enabling my leg to lay flatter against the saddle.*Rider Comfort; they almost feel invisible. My last pair of leathers were thick and wide and I felt like I was fighting them. I'd also get bruised from the buckles.*Easy stirrup adjustments. The t-bar design allows for quick adjustments. No more tug of war with the stirrup bar. Especially nice if your saddle has a very tight stirrup bar.*Safety. In the event of a bad fall, they should slide right off the stirrup bar, which will free the leg from the saddle.WHAT I LOATHE...*Stretching. They have stretched quite a bit over this past year that I've had them (I ride 3x/week).*Mediocre leather. They show wear quickly. For me, it was in the first month of use.*Stirrup Iron Fit. Being made of metal, the T-Bar is thicker than leather, so it can be a struggle to thread through the eye of most stirrup irons. However, they fit well with my Sprenger 4F Offset Eye & Korsteel II irons, both of which have larger eyes than most - as someone who likes options, I'm rather limited.

They take some getting used to -- you can't run them up like regular leathers -- but it's a lot less under your leg.

Neat and tidy and far easier for me to adjust whilst sitting on my horse.
