One of the metal leaves broke off while unwrapping this light. It requires 4 AA batteries for operation and comes with a remote for on/off, dimness control, and 2, 4, 6, and 8 hour timers. I wish it were solar rechargeable because I find that I'm not inclined to use it knowing it will run the batteries down. Others might not mind going through batteries, but I do not consider this purchase a good value.

It was easy to put together with simple instructions and works exactly as expected.I particularly like the dimmable feature.I used it to add an elegant touch to a camping tent.

Really like this light. Comes with a battery pack, you can see it on the main picture, it is the black blob on the back right of the ring. Takes 4 AA batteries, and works on a dimmer, very nice. We set this up walking into our dining room/kitchen, however, we created a hook under our backyard tents for lowlight nights, this will move and hang there. The hanging fixture is not permanent, but rather place on a ceiling hook, cross bar, something similar, and it will hang where you want. I like the portability, it is a very pretty light setup. For what we wanted, outdoor lights that won't stay outdoors, this made a nice addition. We'd consider a second for our other backyard tent. Highly recommend, really good price.

I love this for under my carport on summer nights. It is easy to assemble and hang. It looks really nice. I love that it is battery powered and has a remote. But, because it battery powered, it is not very bright.

This chandelier is now hanging in a ligustrum tree near our pool, visible from one of our windows. We've used the timer on the remote to turn it on for most of the night, and it's a pleasure to look at it. The pool is closed at the moment, but we expect to enjoy it on spring and summer nights once the pool is open, adding to the other decorative lighting we have. So far it's been through freezing cold and some very high winds and continues to glow, so we're satisfied that we should have it for a while. Construction was simple, and the hook fit easily around one of the branches. We've run it for several weeks now on the same batteries, so the suggested 80+ hours seems realistic.
