It is a lovely, different door bell ringer. You will not see yourself coming and going, but it does not always work. I have to place a sign next to the ringer stating: Press Down.

Beautiful workmanship -- only just a bit larger that we had expected. I also got the door knocker and it was also very large. Since these were purchased for a condo at the beach, they will work just fine, but would not want them that large at my regular home.

This is a lovely doorbell ringer. It is a thick brass "mini sculpture". Very pleased with my purchase. Please note that it needs to be used with a wired doorbell system, not a wireless one.
