Mounting Instructions 1
Disconnect negative battery terminal
Remove passenger floor mat
Remove plastic cover under glove box
Be cautious around footwell lights

Mounting Instructions 2
Be cautious with plastic wheel
Detach blower motor from climate control unit
disconnect wires
Remove screws holding motor

Mounting Instructions 3
New motors usually include wheel
Remove spring clip
Carefully remove wheel
check for damage.
Replace if necessary

Installation of new blower motor
Reinstall the motor into the climate control unit
Once it’s secure, reconnect the wires

Now, reconnect the negative battery terminal
Start vehicle to check new blower function
Reattach the cover under the dash
Reattach the floor mat

Easy plug and play installation. Watched youtube on how to replace blower before I started. Hardest part was cutting around old blower to remove. New blower came with mounting screws. Fixed the problem and works like a new one should.

This doesn't fit a 2006 Pontiac G6 as stated. I cut the old blower motor out of my 2006 G6 Base V6 3.5L as required, but the screw holes on this part do not line up with the mounting holes on the car so it's unable to be installed. I tried rotating it but only two of the five screw holes line up correctly. There is no way to angle the screws or rig it to work.

Saturn aura install is a pain in the ass. You have to cut the housing that holds it up in there. Other than that it’s plain and simple installation process

When GM made the blower motors, they plastic fused the old ones it - BUT - they knew it would need to be replaced. The result is that you need to take a razor blade/knife and "cut" the old one out (very easy - will take you a minute or two) and then this new one will screw in where the old one went. GM knew you wouldn't be able to plastic fuse the new one in, so they put screw holes in the housing so that it is ready to accommodate these new blowers. If you don't know this, you will think that this doesn't fit your G6 (like another reviewer), but if you know what you are doing (plenty of vids online) you will see that this is a perfect fit as designed.

Had to cut bottom of panel for blower motor to fit in. It blows air for half the price of auto store that's the best I can say for it, hopefully it last a few year's.
