This is a great quality bean bag. I was instantly sold when I saw that you could remove the outer cover to wash it. The fabric feels like suede, and is so comfortable. The size is about right too. I had an older bean bag that I had filled with shredded foam and poly fill from old pillows. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is that after dumping my old bean bag into the new bean bag, I decided I really should add additional fill. Unfortunately, the zipper on the liner would NOT open again. I think this was just a problem on my bean bag, because I think the stitching was such that I slightly over-pulled the zipper, so it wouldn't unzip again. However, it is important to be able to refill the bean bag, so check before you pull that zipper tight shut.

At the tender age of 39, I have never had a bean bag chair or a papasan chair. I wanted both as a kid. As a Millenial adult, I desperately want a green velvet couch, but I don't have green velvet couch money.When I saw this bean bag chair cover, I decided I had to have it for my swamp witch/cottage core living room where I also keep my bird, reptiles, and inverts. While this chair is going to sit lower than other pieces of furniture in my house, I have reptiles and some of the tanks are only a few inches off the floor. This gives me a seating option where I can be closer to them and view them more easily.This might be a bad idea for me now, because I have back problems and it is a long way down to the floor, but I'm going to enjoy it anyway.When I opened the package, I thought it was a different item I had ordered. I opened the bag and my first thought was... "Wow! That's thick, heavy fabric". And it is. It feels more like thin velvet, and doesn't really seem like the microsuede I am more familiar with.The color is exactly as pictured.I haven't sat in it yet. I am still decided on the best filler. I'm not sure what I want to use yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
