Love this product. It has definitely made my lifting more comfortable. I don’t have to worry about that ugly callus buildup.

Se me han roto en la semana de uso. Estaba encantado con ellas. Pero supongo que sería una unidad defectuosa.

AAA+ product. Was a bit tight at the start but leather gives a little after first few gym sessions. Highly recommended.

the handgrips work as advertised. don’t think that you’ll increase your grip power significantly, though. it’s main function is protecting against blisters and ripping-which it does well.i only gave 3 stars because of the quality-relative to the price. the metal clasp that is used to pull the fastening strip through rusted and corroded after about 3 wears. for the price, a higher quality clasp could have been used.and i can’t speak for other colors, but i purchased the black and they stain my hands badly with the dye in the leather. not a huge deal, but it takes numerous hand washings to clean them. and if u rest your hands on your shirt or shorts, they are immediately stained as well.refer to the included pictures.

Es la primera vez que uso calleras y hasta ahora me ha ido muy bien. Protegen mejor que los guantes y dan muy buen agarre en la barra.

I just received my Bear KompleX 2 hole grips. I am using them for CrossFit. I have used them twice, and so far I really like them. I tried a similar product and didn't feel comfortable with the grip. With these, I don't feel like I am going to slip off the bar. I have also used them with the barbell and dumbbells - feels good. Truly saved my hands from ripping! I didn't give five stars simply because I just starting using these.

Updated Review:Just did a workout I saw the other day...75 T2B for time and with every break, 7 burpees...MY HANDS FEEL GREAT!!! I was able to grip the bar for longer, which meant, LESS BURPEES and we all know thats always a good thing :) These are by far the best grips I have ever used!! Would recommend these to anyone!!!Bought these after my husband raved about them. Obviously I knew they would need to be broken in, so I didn't expect them to work that well the first couple of uses. Well I just did my 2nd workout with them and they're AMAZING! No rips or tears on my hands and I never lost my grip on the bar. The only things that seems to be bothering me is the metal at the wrist. At times, it seemed to be digging into my wrist and base of my hand, so I may have pull the strap too tight, but I absolutely love these gymnastics grips and will definitely purchase another pair when this pair needs to be replaced! Thanks Bear Komplex for saving my hands!

I constantly have trouble finding good grips... Too long or short, super thick, over assisting, not pliable, poor quality...I got these Bear KompleX grips the other day and they satisfy my need perfectly. The leather is just thick enough to protect the hands while not taking away from any level of grip training/strengthening. Even with their notice that the grips need some time to break in i found them great from first use a bit slick for lack of something better to call it - not in terms of slip on the bar but in terms of holding chalk. The quality of them is exceptional especially for the low price. The greatest feature was something that I didn't even expect... I have trouble when performing extended arm type motions like snatches or overhead squats in that after a few reps I tend to let my wrists relax, over extending them which hurts the next day. With the fit on these I have just enough play that my hands get a bit of feed back when I start to over extend. This isn't so much that I couldn't do so just enough that I notice and it acts as a reminder hey tighten up and stop slacking!

I switched gyms to a place that has cheese graters for barbells and pull ups bars so I decided to give hand grips another try. These grips are actually quite good. The grip is somewhere better than sweaty hands and less than chalked hands. Quite frankly that's the best grip I've ever experienced from maybe 6 different types of hand protection, easily. The protection is quite good. I was a bit worried with 2 vs 3 holes having less coverage but the area of my hand not protected isn't hurting for protection, but it does help provide a better grip. These seem to be the better product. The leather sits comfortably on your hand when you grab the bar, if not I'd suspect you need a different size. The leather has a nice feel to it and worked quite well for the first workout. It did get better throughout the week and by the end of the 10th workout or so they felt quite natural.Size was true to measurement, I'm normally a bit tight in medium gloves and the medium size Bear grips work quite well for me.

I've been doing CrossFit for four years and enjoy pull-ups, T2B, Muscle Ups, etc but tend to tear my hands bad during these movements. About a year and half ago, I purchased a pair of cheap gymnastic hand wraps (white, around $20), and used them for Metcons. They took a long time to break in, but once worn, they were excellent until the cheap straps broke along the wristline. Unlike others, I didn't have a problem with the cheap velcro hurting my wrists - I think that's a function of losing grip and then straining the straps. Having said that, the velcro straps finally gave up the ghost and fell apart.I bought these Bear Komplex grips as them seemed to have better build quality than the generic gymnastic grips. The two main differences I found when I began to use these grips is that the leather is thicker than the generic ones, and the wrist strap structure is far superior. I initially thought the increased thickness was a major problem and that the space between my hand and bar was not good; however, after only a few uses the grips wore in very well and have surpassed my expectations. The key is that the Komplex leather is more supple and conforms around your fingers much more quickly than the cheap ones do. After ten uses, I am now as comfortable with the Komplex grips as I was after six months with the cheap ones. My suggestion is to do a bunch of T2B's and kettle bell swings before a class for a few weeks to wear in the grips before use - don't freak out during this break in period as the Komplex grips may feel really thick and it will be very hard to hold on to the bar. Once they break in that feeling goes away and you'll get good purchase on the bar without tearing skin.
