I have had a fish pond and now a water feature have used Beckett pumps for over 20 yrs, they seem to last 3/4 yrs running 24/7 and would recommend these pumps . A good bang for the $, easy to install and delivered on time.

The pump came with fountain heads and adaptors needs to set up a landscape pond to other features. The instructions for parts and installation were the best I'd ever read. Its great !

The filter at the end of this pump is super! I had to clean it several times a day as it totally clogged with the algae from my pond, but my water is much clearer. I no longer see all the algae floating throughout the pond. I still have to rinse the filter at least once every day, but it’s worth it. Hoping if I start out with this pump next season, the pond won’t get as mucky and it won’t need to have the filter cleaned as much.

Product worked great, except the flow rate is as low as it can be set and is still to much for my needs. Consequently I must refill my pond every week for water loss & evaporation.

The pump works great. Our fish pond tends to stop up many of the pumps we have tried in the past. This one still stops up as well, but it takes longer. It’s very easy to clean and get back in operation when a clog occurs. Great product!

These have a really high range upto 12' but I only needed about 2'Nice selection of spouts, I like the 2 tear the best and the dome but you can only use the dome when its very calm outside any amount of wind will disturb it.Very easy to install and place.This pond is just being built its not done yet but just took pictures to show you the water.I purchased 2 pumps one for the waterfall and one for the fountain the pressure was not enough with one to run both off one pump.

I have had, and run, several pond pumps but I needed this Beckett 500 GPH to run a secondary, small water feature in my koi pond. I have the sponge filter attached and it is all in a mesh bag to keep debris out. When power is cut to clean the sponge, for example, the pump will restart, it is powered and you can feel the motor running, but no water is flowing. As another reviewer noted the impeller seems to freeze up when power is cut and turned back on, but without the impeller providing cooling water the motor will burn out . I do suspect the impeller needs to be replaced, which happens with my bigger pumps, but not after only two months! Not impressed with this Beckett pump at this point. Now to see if they sell an impeller for this as I hate to just throw stuff away.

I used this pump in my pond. It worked for one season (about 4 months) and then broke. When it works, it is pretty good. But for the price, I expect it to last much longer. The 2 year warranty they claim is a joke. I emailed their customer care email that is listed on Beckett pump website and received no response. Tried calling them and a rude lady told me that they will only send parts (for which, I will have to pay the shipping) and then I will have to try fixing the pump myself.

I purchased this kit as a replacement for a pump and fountain that had been in operation for many years and finally failed. I'm very pleased with this pump and accessories. I have it placed in a small, fairly deep "pond" that is actually a repurposed pit that was originally used for smoking meat and is about 2' x 3' x 2' deep (approximately). The feature that I most like about the kit is the outlet valve that attaches to the pump. The valve body contains both a bypass valve (for diverting part of the flow) and a throttle valve. Between the two it is possible to precisely regulate the flow to the desired level. I'm also impressed with the filter. The water in this little pond has never looked clearer, and the filter can handle considerable loading before there is much restriction to the flow. It is much more effective than the filter on my previous pump.
