I have thick rails on my bedframe so these work just not as well as they would work with smaller bed frames smaller wood bed frames. I have thick metal bed frames, but it still does what it needs to do essentially

My wife keeps banging her toes on the legs of the bed in our guest room. These six-inch bed leg protectors are just the thing to keep her toes bruise-free. They are made of dense but soft foam and designed as a spiral that is wrapped around the bed's leg. However, they are not cut all the way through, making it necessary to cut them yourself.

This is a simple idea to stop a common pain: dense soft foam so that you hurt less if you kick a bed leg. On one hand, they are pricey for foam, yet I’m happy to pay that price to avoid the pain of whacking my toes on a metal frame. I suppose you could use a piece of a swim noodle but it wouldn’t hug the furniture leg as well as these and would be unattractive. The foam protector is cut in a spiral so that you can easily wrap it around the bed leg without lifting the bedframe. That’s great. However, mine are only cut part of the way through so you either need to carefully tear the foam or, as I did, use a utility knife to finish the spiral cut. Great idea, but missing some quality control.
