At 10 yards, using the iron sights, its consistently precise and accurate. At 20 yards groups within 2 inches.I want to use a telescopic sight and need mounts that place it above the rear iron sight and 10-pellet cartridge. Please recommend any you have found work well. What might have been "better if?" Amazon did not use any padding for the larger shipping cardboard box leading to minor cosmetic damage. The inadequate padding may have also loosened the front iron sight. A screwdriver tightening fixed this. PCP air rifles cost more than spring/piston ones, require a high-pressure air pump. It is worth the cost for me.

Got this gun. Missing o rings on magazines. Missing o rings on probe. Hammer spring jams. Bolt will not engage the hammer. Broken degassing tool. Do not buy this gun. Spend the few bucks more and buy Air Venturi Avenger. I sent the gun in to be serviced. Takes a month to get this done. I wanted a exchange but was told no.

My recent review said this air rifle would would not fire. I also said I thought I WAS SUCKER because I believed I got a used rifle. WELL things have changed. I call Beeman company customer service. 4 or 5 days later a UPS truck doped a new Beeman Chief II at my front door. Now "THAT" is customer service. This air rifle works @ 100 percent. I now have emptied 4 10 shot magazines. Shot groups are one fourth of an inch or less consistent group. Thank you, BEEMAN, I love this air rifle. WC.
