Even Better Than Before

These loudspeakers take everything musicians love about the original B212 loudspeakers and upgrade them with the same bass and treble/mid transducers found in our wildly popular B212A passive version for even better sound and power handling. And with integrated overload protection circuitry, they arrive ready to push it to the limit without putting their high or low frequency drivers in danger.

Triumphant Transducers

Every stitch of these loudspeakers is built to deliver, but the fact is that their transducers (woofers and tweeters) are the only part you actually hear. While some manufacturers are okay with putting off-the-shelf transducers in their boxes, we custom-design and build ours from scratch. Not only do we wind our own voice coils, we grow the trees that are processed into the paper pulp that becomes the cones. We even machine the frames and backplates. BEHRINGER's quality is truly under control.

Big Sound, Lightweight, Low Price

Big here, small there, lots of this, light on that - everyone's got their preferences, but the EUROLIVE B212XL has proportions we can all agree upon. These loudspeakers pack a clean, punchy wallop (and can handle up to 800 Watts), they are easy to lift by their recessed handles (24 lbs) and are available at insanely low prices. Who wouldn't want to hook up with one of these beauties?

Get on the Stick...or Get on Down

The B212XL is perfect either as part of a PA system or as an onstage monitor. If the situation calls for a PA, mount the speakers on stands via the 35mm pole socket. From there, send a line from the MAIN OUT of a mixer (such as a XENYX 1202FX) to a power amplifier (like the EUROPOWER EP1500). Finally, attach a B212XL to each of the amp's outputs. These loudspeakers have inputs for both professional speaker cable and ¼" cable. Because they have two parallel inputs, you can connect up to two of them to any channel on a power amp. But these loudspeakers don't have to be confined to an upright position. Just lay them on their sides for use as a floor monitor. You'll find that they tilt to the ideal angle for onstage monitor wedge applications.

Choose White, Black, on or Off the Wall...

You asked for it, and now we're proud to offer these amazing loudspeakers in black or white. We now also make swiveling wall-mount brackets for the B212XL. That means they're ready to fit even more comfortably into a venue's color scheme and layout. No matter what your sound or aesthetic needs may be, we make one that's just right for you!

I bought these for use as a stage monitors, I have a set of their bigger brothers the b215s which are amazing! But i wanted a smaller rig since i drive a mustang, and wanted something that would fit easier.Paired them with a very powerful crown amp. The same amp works wonders with the 215s.The fact is these just arent loud enough for actual giging use. The speaker just can't move enough air and doesnt have enough frequency response for a monitor or PA application.Compared to the yamaha active 12s these things are a waste of money the Yamaha kicks this things ass so bad its criminal. Get the b215s or spend the extra 200 on the yamaha or JBL you will be way happier. The 15s are wonderful the b212s are useless...

I've played in bands for over 25 years. I ordered these and they showed up just in time for a gig the next day. We were out side in my four piece dad band (Mostly classic rock). We used two behringers and two seismic audio subs (15s). We miced the guitars, bass guitar, kick drum and an overhead drum mic. Plus four vocal mics. We were running our own sound and were playing DJ music during our breaks. When I stepped out front I was really pleased with the crisp, articulate sound. During the DJ music at breaks it was really great too. Had to cut the highs a lot. These absolutely blew our old Peavey pr15s away. We always struggled to get the good highs out of those peaveys. So easy to carry, and mount on poles. Already saving up for some more to use as monitors.

I am not giving these 5 stars because they are the best sounding speakers but because they fit the purpose for which I intend to use them very well. Thse are my main monitors for my acoustic/electronic drums. For the price the sound quality is actually very nice. The bass is punchy and highs are crisp. They seem to blend the electronic samples very well into my acoustic kit. I have them on the floor at the left and right corners of my kit. I have a qsc amp with an alesis multimix for the amp and mixer. These do exactly what I need them to do.

Amazing speakers at a fantastic price. Check out the review and thread for the B215XL (bigger brother of these) at avsforum (a popular audio forum in the US). These are essentially the same as the B215XL and are great for home cinema and stereo - if you have a subwoofer too.Their frequency response on paper is not that great - something like 60hz - 18khz but, with a good subwoofer it's pretty irrelevant unless you can hear past 18khz (I'd suggest the vast majority of adults cannot). Even if you can, I doubt it means much at all.The reason for the less than ideal freq response is probably due to the very high speaker sensitivity at 95db/1w/1m - meaning reference levels can be met with pretty modest amplifiers. These speakers go insanely loud without any distortion whatsoever and simply sound fantastic at any volume. Voices are superb. I don't listen very loudly but, these take everything in their stride and everything is controlled. The freq response seems to allow for the integration of a subwoofer to be a breeze compared with hifi speakers I have used - maybe because the speaker simply doesn't go low and the subwoofer does it all (from 80hz in my case). The only downside to these is the looks imo since they are PA speakers but, it's all about the sound aint it!?Again, please look for the thread on avsforum. Even though it's the B215XL thread, these have been described as being the same but, with wider dispersion, less sensitivity (96db for the 215xl) and less freq response (not that it seems to matter for most). However, the 215xl's are bigger and might be even less living room friendly and cost a bit more (although still very, very cheap).

I bought these to DJ at a local Anime/Gaming convention that my friend was starting up. Finally got a chance to test them out today, and I was blown away. I have them hooked up to a Behringer EPQ1200 and I couldn't turn it all the way up for fear of my windows breaking. My primary concern was that there would be a lack of bass, and there is and isn't at the same time. It pounds and punches, but doesn't have that low resonance that a woofer does. I am happy with the bass response from them, and it exceeded my expectations.I tested it with all different kinds of music to get a feel for it. Everything from the West Side Story soundtrack, to Katy Perry, to Progressive Dubstep, to Van Halen, and to video game soundtracks. Everything sounded crystal clear, powerful, and strong with no distortion what so ever.I will update this review after the convention when I get to really let loose with them.

Everyone scoffed at me when I bought all Behringer equipment, but they are all eating crow now! These sound AMAZING when the system is properly calibrated. Faithful reproduction of mid- and high-frequency sounds (high-frequency sound can be overpowering with these... an EQ is a MUST!) and fairly deveny and punchy bass, though they aren't built for that (If you're doing music, you NEED a sub!)They work great as monitors too, as the shape lets them sit at just the right angle. They've survived 6 events with multiple EDM DJs at each, and I haven't managed to smoke them yet!My last event, between 4 of these, two B215xl speakers and two B1800D-PRO, I managed to hit over 127 dBc at 2 meters, and the sound was clear as a bell, with no crackling or clipping.

Good product for the money. Easy to carry and set up. I would give it five stars but the pole mount is lacking. The hole is not deep enough and is larger in diameter than any stand I have ever used. Will have to make a bushing to get a better fit. It is to wobbly as is. Other than that a good speaker for the price. Buy it and make a bushing.

The speaker looks good but the sound quality is very poor, there is very little bass because of the small size of the cabinet, yes it is very light and portable but you can't get very much volume out of it before it breaks up and is overdriven. Even with the proper wattage going into it. I would not recommend this speaker unless you don't need loud volumes.

Review of the Behringer EUROLIVE B212XL 800-Watt 2-Way PA Speaker System. I ordered two of these speakers to go with one 18" Subwoofer and Amplifier to make the perfect "small venue" system. These speakers are super light in weight, which make them extremely mobile. They have the smaller size universal speaker whole on the bottom for easy speaker pole mounting. I set them up in the club where I work and used them all night with great hapiness. They sound loud and awesome! To make a very long story short..."For the money, you can't get a better quality speaker than this!". Behringer has really stepped up their game since they started creating and selling DJ, band, and Karaoke products. All those Pro sound guys back in those days can eat their poorly thought out words when they said.."There's no way something that cheap can be that good". I only gave this speaker 4 stars because I know there are other speakers that Behringer sell that are a bit better than this one, but other than that, this speaker rocks! Buy it with great confidence.
