It's a little large for my 2 door sports car but it will work! I have a lot of things adhered to my front windshield/rear and in a climate where it can get triple digits, things melt and fall off. I will be interested to see how well this will work to combat that problem.It's not that hot enough right now but it will be soon. I love the flaps. They are long enough to reach my doors and the metallic ness of the shade looks like it can flake over time but I think that's normal with any sun shade. Will be buying for my 4 door nextP.s. forgive the sloppiness of the shades being just thrown onto the car. I was outside in my jammies and didn't want to risk neighbors seeing me!

For keeping temperatures down, it's about the same as a decent sunshade inside the car (I've tested). The reason I got this was because my dash cam isn't easily removed and it would prevent the sun from heat soaking it and eventually failing the electronics (inside shade doesn't protect it). If you don't have or have a dash cam you can remove, this probably isn't for you. Here's why:1. One size fits all because it's over sized. Since it's not a perfect fit, higher winds can catch it and it will eventually work its way out. I've tested it during a bout of rain we just had and also at the beach.2. It's not secure at all. Even though you close the door on it, it will pull right out. So if someone wanted it, it's theirs.Where I see it benefiting the most:1. Protect a non-removable dash cam from heat soak.2. Catch snow for easy removal.Suggestions:1. Make a more custom fit, at least for the various types of vehicles.2. Have a means of connecting the dog ears together inside the vehicle. It will prevent the wind from pulling it out and also help against theft.3. A more dense foam in the middle to make it somewhat rigid. Will help against wind flap.

I'm in Phoenix. Typical summer day here, is 165 degrees inside your car. This stops the sun BEFORE it can get in. Keep off bird poop, dirt. Easy to put on. After 40 years of using inside the car ones, this is way superior.

Before I bought mine, I read that the quality was poor and it didn't last but a few weeks. I felt they may be exaggerating and they were. I've been using mine DAILY for 6 months. It is finally starting to show it's age with some areas starting to flake. It is still intact but I will be buying another one shortly.The fit for my '13 Toyota Camry is perfect, it blocks 100% of sunlight from entering the cabin through the windshield. I noticed the first time I used it that the inside temps were way lower, and getting in my car (with leather seats) here in Florida, peak summer time, was tolerable. I didn't feel the need to rush to turn the AC on. Sure it doesn't last forever but at this price point it is worth buying and replacing every 7-12 months. It works WAY BETTER than any in-cabin sunshade I've ever used, since it keeps heat off the windshield surface from entering the cabin.

Pro:1. Lightweight2. Keeps the sun off the glass so the vehicle is only ambient temperature, not 20F above ambient.Cons:1. Inconsistent quality control. First shade lasted a long time (2 years), but it's outside in central Arizona where it gets up to 115F, and the second shade fell apart after 3 months of use.2. When the shade is at the end of life, the silver outside layer sheds dramatically all over the inside of the vehicle.I love the concept, and I understand the harsh environment, but less than 3 months of use make me a last time buyer.

The windshield cover has worked great to block the sun on hotter days, which has kept the inside temperature cooler. It fits well on both of my vehicles and is easy to install. I like the sides that are held in place by the doors because it stays in place. I look forward to using it often so the value for me is great.
